Lock-In Social
South Brooklyn Seventh-day Adventist Church, Brooklyn, NY
South Brooklyn sponsored an amazing "Lock-In Social" from 7pm to midnight. There was free food, lots of new games and activities, friendly team competition, trophies and other prizes given out.
At South Brooklyn we encourage strong families and this is yet another way that we intend to foster stronger families. Our activities are wholesome and Christ-like, safe for all to participate in.

February 2014 presented a damp and grey Oldbury morning when Mr D9 and I attempted an exploration of the Titford Canal. Here we see Bottom Lock (No. 6) on a flight that leads up from Oldbury Junction to the Engine House at Tat Bank.
Boulter's Lock is a lock and weir on the River Thames in England on the eastern side of Maidenhead (formerly in Cookham) Berkshire. A lock was first built here by the Thames Navigation Commission in 1772. The lock is on the western side of the river between the main (A4094) Maidenhead to Cookham road and Ray Mill Island. The name is also used for the immediate surrounding area.
The weir is some way upstream of the lock, at the northern end of Ray Mill Island. It is one of the most popular whitewater freestyle kayaking areas on the River Thames, as it has had modifications made to it, to allow kayakers to play on it without causing disruption to other river users.
Two eagles with talons locked... always something in the way when a moment like this occurs ;) There is a new footbridge in Winthrop over the Methow River... a fairly controversial piece of work, but it may be an awesome spot to photograph eagles and other birds. Winthrop, Wa Dec 14 11 7719

There was children park near a primary school. Everyone's haven was this park. But the main attraction was only a cradle!!! Authority locks this "only" cradle so that school kids can't play it or may be can't damage it. Then I wonder, why the park even invented if we don't want kids to play. Such a lame way to entertain kids.
