I picked up these gummy lobsters as a souvenir on a business trip to Boston last Fall. When someone decided to eat them they plotted their escape, but fortunately were caught in the act. For 2019:one photo each day (18/365)

Taken at New Castle, an island district of Portsmouth, New Hampshire. These are traps used to catch lobsters. The entrance (oval at left) is netting that allows lobsters to enter and does not allow them to exit.

The Lobster is a 2015 absurdist dystopian black comedy film. In the film, single people are given 45 days to find a romantic partner or otherwise be turned into animals.
It was selected to compete for the Palme d'Or at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival and won the Jury Prize. It was shown in the Special Presentations section of the 2015 Toronto International Film Festival. The film was nominated for Best Original Screenplay at the 89th Academy Awards and for Outstanding British Film at the 69th British Academy Film Awards.

Can you freeze living lobster, then bring them back alive? This merchandiser thinks so.
This folly appeared in in some non-peered review news reports about 10 years ago. Apparently a very small number of lobsters were frozen solid in minus 40-degree brine and then thawed in 28-degree seawater and survived the process and “came back to life.” And tasted like mush.
