Manic Monday-Grab and Go!
As I already had pcitures out from the birthday party, I continued the theme to finish capturing the moment...
After the judging and sampling, gifts were opened...while burgers and dogs were cooking on the grill.
Happy 18th birthday!
Home Sweet Home- This is the house U grew up in-lived for 25 years! These pictures are from 1970, I was 11 years old. The other picture shows the wallpaper in my room-it was gray with dogwood branches on it. Wheh I was older I painted the walls sky blue and made curtains and a quilted bedspread...the above picture shows treasures I got at a church rummage sale.
My brother and his wife bought the house from my dad and live there now. Nice to have it still in the family, since both my parents are gone.
My husband and I went back there last year and the house seems so small now!
With a little help from my son, I copied FelisG's design about her name. You have a lot of great LO's and I there are several tha i will copy. thanks!

Once you are sure there is not a load in your CVA muzzleloader fire a few primers down your barrel to make sure that there are no oils or moisture in your breech plug or barrel which could cause a misfire.
Rapid Loader 1 at Deane stands high and mighty awaiting its first train back in action after a 5 year hiatus. At the time this was taken, the train lay wait just around the hill in the distance as the Conductor threw the switches, marking a new day for another loadout on the E&BV/Rockhouse. Or so we thought, more on that in the other photos.
It was interesting watching them close up the plane (I missed them opening it). The big ramp folds up and disappears inside, the nose closes and the entire airplane then stands up from "kneeling" on it's front landing gear.
Thought I would try my hand again at digital scrapbooking. I think I am in love with it - not really surprised I guess if I really think about it. I used Barb's template again - I really like using it to get all my photos on my page. I have a feeling I will be using it a lot. Thanks Barb! I also found this amazing site called Shabby Princess - where I downloaded most of my page elements from...http://www.shabbyprincess.com/default.asp. It is awesome and she is a wonderful designer. I can see myself visiting her site many times as well. I am planning on working on the second page tomorrow, more photos and the journaling will be on the second page. This is Owen's trip to see Santa this year at the Bass Pro Shop. We had so much FUN!
I feel a KNIFE like pain every time my grandson leaves to go back home to Dallas, TX

I took a long time doing this and it felt good to get it down. We should listen to things. It is all part of what Sir Authur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes may have ment when he said, "You see, but you do not observe. The distinction is clear" I want to remember sounds and all the sensory input I get. Makes me want to sit and scrap all day.
These are digital scrap pages and for the titles I inserted a fancy font (the rainbow ones) and also a separate fancy font for petosky, Yesterday and Today. I color washed them so they would match the page. I used the Totally fun kit for the flowers and some of the papers, and one piece from the Timeless holiday digital kit which I won. That is on the page you can see the text and that paper is right below.

my silly secret is that when I'm tired (I haven't slept all night because I slept so good in the afternoon) my noes gets bigger and my eyes get sunk into my orbits, so I just play with my eyes thinking they'll look a little big bigger and balance the proportion of my nose. ha ha, actually the secret is that the water still smelled like roses after the bath.
