This was shot on the way home from a meeting in Zürich. I pondered shooting the sunset with the Zürichsee (lake Zürich), but I didn't want to join the rush hour traffic in the city. Which was a good choice - while I was driving home, I kept hearing about traffic jams around Zürich.
This picture is from a highway rest area. The thing in the upper half actually is the sunset, the thing in the lower half are about two minutes worth of cars driving by.
None of my pictures from the last few days spoke to me. I guess it's normal that this happens from time to time? This one kind of did, but when I looked at it, I knew something was missing. So what you see is a slightly altered version, with horizontal blur added.
There's been lots of lightning the last few days, but it finally was visible through the clouds tonight.

The mix of light painting and an usual exposure. For the flower I used LiveComp many times x 20 sec and the second exposure I used Godox optical snoot, 1.6 sec f8.0 .

Image made with my Olympus OM-D e-M1 mk2, m.Zuiko 12-40mm f2.8 Pro lens, NiSi CirPl & Natural Night filters and meFoto Globetrotter tripod. Processed in On1 Photo RAW 19.6 with a roundtrip to Nik Silver Efex Pro.

St. Martinskapelle bei Reulbach in der Rhön.
Vordergrund wurde über ein Live-Composite aus 28 Bildern (je 30sek belichtet bei ISO800) mit Lightpainting als Einzelbild erstellt. Himmel ist am gleichen Ort und Tag ca. 1 Stunde später per Astronachführung (iOptron Skytracker Pro) mit 150 Sekunden und ISO800 als Einzelbild belichtet (Objektiv Laowa 7.5mm bei F2.8 ). Beide Bilder dann in Photoshop übereinandergelegt.
