One of the iconic cereals of America is made in my hometown. This is an image I can actually smell as the Cheerios are being made early in the morning. This is about 5 minutes worth of exposure using my camera's Live Composite feature that stacks multiple exposures but only adds changes in the light to the final image.
The Gear: Olympus OM-D e-M1.2 with the m.Zuiko 25mm f1.2 lens and mounted on my Mefoto Globetrotter tripod - 25mm | f3.5 | 20s | ISO200.
Post-Processing: Initial RAW processing handled by DxO PhotoLab 4 then pushed to On1 Photo RAW 2021 for file prep prior to a roundtrip to Nik Silver Efex Pro for Mono Conversion and film emulation. I finished this one up by adding a LUT in On1 to tone it up.

This was shot on the way home from a meeting in Zürich. I pondered shooting the sunset with the Zürichsee (lake Zürich), but I didn't want to join the rush hour traffic in the city. Which was a good choice - while I was driving home, I kept hearing about traffic jams around Zürich.
This picture is from a highway rest area. The thing in the upper half actually is the sunset, the thing in the lower half are about two minutes worth of cars driving by.
None of my pictures from the last few days spoke to me. I guess it's normal that this happens from time to time? This one kind of did, but when I looked at it, I knew something was missing. So what you see is a slightly altered version, with horizontal blur added.
There's been lots of lightning the last few days, but it finally was visible through the clouds tonight.
Portland, OR 39 - 0.5sec exposures composited in camera using the Olympus Live Composite exposure mode. O8148 - Happy Fireworks Fridays!
The mix of light painting and an usual exposure. For the flower I used LiveComp many times x 20 sec and the second exposure I used Godox optical snoot, 1.6 sec f8.0 .

Beide Bilder dann in Photoshop übereinandergelegt.
