Smile on Saturday theme: lit by candlelight
Off to the side I have 3 birthday candles lit.
Thank you everyone for your kind comments and favs. All are greatly appreciated. HSoS
At first I took a picture of a candle flame. It was a satisfying picture, but I noticed that was a mistake and hurriedly took a picture on Sunday midnight again!!
The light source of this picture was only candlelit from the right side and the bottom.
I was nervous so that the flowers would not have burned with flames!!
Happy Macro Mondays!!
Using a metal case to house a bottle of TCM Oilment, took out the bottle and replace it with a torchlight to create this effect.
As a follow up to my last post, my father-in-law passed away on Saturday. He suffered for a long time so it is a good thing and we feel very relieved, like a burden has been lifted, and ready to move on. Thank you for all your wonderful and supportive comments previously.

A single tulip lit by natural light from a bedroom window. Blue background is the bedspread. Also a focus stack of the center of the flower.
Hey guys this is a little update before BFVA and Ive been getting more into building recently than customizing so expect a new house or scenes. As of tomorrow I will be inactive for a good week since I will be on vacation with no service at all.
Lemme know what I should do next for a scene!

Split Rock Lighthouse, Lake Superior North Shore, Minnesota
After a storm on Nov. 28, 1905 had damaged 29 ships, Congress authorized $70,000 to build a lighthouse and fog signal at Split Rock. The light station was completed in 1910.
The light was taken out of service in 1969 when modern navigation methods made it obsolete, but the 1,000 watt 3rd-order bivalve Fresnel lens beacon is lit once a year on November 10th to commemorate the wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald.
I have made the beacon lighting ceremony the last two years, and I plan on going every year for as long as I can still make it. Yes, it's cold on the North Shore in November, but if you have a love of history, beauty, and a need for an unexplainable sense of something unexplainable, the trip is well worth it!
