Made with Processing. These are experiments in simple catmull-rom curves aligned in a grid. They remind me of asemic writing and some of Henri Michaux's drawings and paintings.
This is a pencil drawing from 1986 that I drew for an art class, I never turned it in for some reason. I scanned it in and darkened it slightly to bring out the detail.

this was meant to be a scan of an original A2 piece i did in pen and ink of whitby abbey. unfortunately the silly woman at staples saved the scan as a bitmap. so the quality is crap and i can't use anything above a small scale. the original is in sepia and i will try to get it scanned properly at some point but here is a photoshopped version of what it sort of looks like.

The husband believes this looks like sperm and eggs. I don't know...
