A new speed limit is in place on SR 9 in Clearview. This change comes following a traffic study conducted by WSDOT engineers. The existing 45mph speed zone beginning at SR 522 will be extending 2-miles further north to Cathcart Way. Although conditions dictate safe travel speeds, a consistent speed limit will help lower congestion on the highway and keep the roads safer for the traveling public.

My annual pilgrimage to the Edinburgh International Military Tattoo for 2018 celebrating 100 years of the RAF with a show called The Sky's the Limit. Fantastic display of music, dancing and lighting with added fun and fireworks as well.
The show is usually sold out every night but I definitely recommend trying to get along to one as they are quite something to behold.
Photographically it is always challenging with dark conditions, bright spot lights, sunsets, smoke and lots of fast movement but I think I'm getting the hang of it now. Hope you enjoy.
Austin City Limits Music Festival 2013. After 11 years ACL Fest went to 2 weekends. Again, 65,000 music fans a day rolled into Zilker Park for music, sun and fun. October 4-6, 2013 kicked off ACL Fest and I was fortunate enough to cover concert goers attending ACL Fest for The Austinist. www.austinist.com. Can't wait for weekend 2.

The show is usually sold out every night but I definitely recommend trying to get along to one as they are quite something to behold.

Lunchtime on Day 3 of the GBRf 2018 charity railtour "Out of the Ordinary" and the train reached its northernmost calling point - Fort William. After a quick burger and a few pints in spoons for the passengers, Class 73/1, 73 141 "Charlotte", gets ready to bring up the rear of the tenth leg of the tour - 1Z31 Fort William to Inverkeithing Goods Loop via Glasgow Central Low Level, Mossend Yard and the Forth Bridge... as you do!

By 1900, there was a bridge crossing the Hersey River from Church St. to Werth Dr., creating a 90º corner to access the property (if you are coming from Reed City). All of the current angled roads were not there.

At the former corner of Church and Werth, there was something called an "Ashory". Not sure what that is.

My grandfather served in the 331st Aerial Photo Lab and was stationed at the Pantanella Air Base near Gioia, Italy during World War II. He left behind boxes of photos like these, and now I'm trying to fill in the details.
