This beautiful church sits near the ocean on the rugged lava coast of Vatnsleysuströnd. Overlooking Faxaflói and with a great view of the iconic Snæfellsjökull, this church has one of the nicest backdrops of churches in Iceland specially in summer when the sun sets and rises in the north.
They who built the road to the church where however not thinking of the beautiful images this backdrop can create, as the road and it´s lightpoles are in between. I had to clone the anoying things out, I hope you dont mind.

Explored 08-02-12. Waterfront Park walkway in Tacoma, WA, just off of Ruston Way. Quite a restoration from the former days of a sawmill. A number of folks who used to live in the original house on our lot worked here, and I wonder what they would think of the changes.
