Night weaving between the rain.
A silhouette of thought filled with your name. The lights highlight the missing spaces you occupied. I tried to avoid the downpour until I accepted I had to get wet.

This is No. 4 of a series of five photos showing autumn colours in our village. Most of the leaves are already fallen down in early November, but some trees still have colour decoration.

Here's the thing.
You never know when you might need a picture of two pigeons on a pole.
So just take the picture.
You never know.
The guy on the right is pretty fat.
How do you ask for a slimmer pigeon?
. . . You have to feel sorry for the ospreys who lived at Craven Park in Bellaire. The light poles over the softball fields are gone, and so there is no "typical" place for the birds to build their nest. There are several tall pine trees around, but the birds are used to the light poles, and keep trying to build on the smaller telephone and electrical poles.
Have a great weekend Facebook, Flickr, and 500px friends!

Siglufjörður is a town in north Iceland.
That summer night there was a lot of mist and fog in the air. When the sun went down it lit up the humid sky and made everything turn to gold.

At the first fallen snow, This is what came out of it. Taken with a phone via Oldroll sim. app. I agree, setting could be better, but overall i'm overly found by the outcome. This photography just shows that the saying really is quite true - "the best camera is the one you have with you"
Enjoy

I was panning this Pelican as it came in for a landing on the light pole,
but wasn't quick enough to capture the whole scene as it dislodged a Pacific
Gull from its roost. Wish I could have seen the expression on the gull's
face too !!

It actually looked worse than it was once it started raining. One of those steady 20 minute rains, just enough to get you wet, but not enough to shut the fair down. I checked the radar on the iPhone before leaving the car...good to go, not a cloud in sight...my trusty Totes rain poncho left on the passenger seat, why carry something I'm not going to need...right?
