While returning from my brothers place in Auburn NS yesterday evening, Diana and myself stopped in Windsor for some Tims. This was the view behind the Tims.
Yes it doth, and I think I can hear it sighing. The snow kind of glitters but that's subtle. It smells like some kind of a cavern, plus diesel and roofing tar.

The little hawk sitting on the light pole in the last of the Pelican Flick series was a Red Shouldered Hawk that keeps watch on the road in front of my office. I saw this little hawk a few days later on a light pole on my way to work. Luckily I was not running late and I got this portrait. Hawks are magnificent birds and I was pleased this one let me capture this photo.

Kimono Forest, Japan, Kyoto, Arashiyama.
The Kimono Forest is to be found at the Arashiyama Station on Kyoto’s Keifuku Arashiyama Line (commonly called the Randen Line). It has been designed by artist Yasumichi Morita of GLAMOROUS Co.
"The Randen Line’s Kimono Forest consists of 600 poles, each 6.5 feet (2 meters) high, wrapped with Kyoto Yuzen kimono fabrics. The poles are illuminated by LED lights at night and provide a completely different atmosphere compared to the daytime display. The textiles were designed by Kyoto’s Kamedatomi, a textile factory dating back to the Taisho Period. There are 32 different patterns on display, each carefully selected by the artist himself." Paseo Fernando Quiñones is located at one end of La Caleta beach and is formed by a long and narrow promenade over the sea. This narrow strip of land is actually called an isthmus because it has water on both sides. This bridge connects the mainland with the nearby Cádiz Lighthouse and the Castle of San Sebastián that is found at the end of it. This walkway has wonderful vistas along with stunning views of the sunset!

Newtown is quite old town, and you can tell that from the street light pole. if it had a memory, that hould be better than any movies or TV series because it is real life drama.
Another scorching hot day in Austin, TX...but found some good photos this morning!
A shot with a 10mm wide angle lens looking directly up a light pole (notice there is not a cloud in the sky, just 100 degree temps up there).
From my backyard I spotted this beautiful Cockatoo sitting on top of the light pole just looking down into the Backyard. I am so lucky I can go and sit outside and just enjoy the sights and sounds of nature. I try and do this before I read the news to see what is happening in the world.

A light pole located in the grounds of a school in Soweto, now part of the greater Johannesburg conurbation.
Flats Industrial Railroad's SW1500 1222 slumbers away a beautiful summer evening in downtown Cleveland as it awaits its next call to duty on Monday morning. The locomotive is stored in a fenced area between the counterweight of Bridge 4 and Columbus Road to prevent vandalism.
Something a little different this time, a long exposure of the sunset. Quite happy with how this turned out, not much water movement, which has given it a little misty feel. The cloud was moving nice slow just to give it some movement.

I don't know what these guys were doing but it appeared they didn't know either... Our garbage and recycling company was sold recently and It looks like they either hired new people or brought in new people because they were very late and should never have been at this intersection at the same time...
