Created by the same people who put on Vivid Sydney, Lithglo 2012 saw iconic heritage and historic buildings lit up in a new light! It was an awesome display and at the Blast Furnace, the light show was complimented by a fog machine, music and industrial sounds.

I hadn't done any nighttime photography with my models in a while, so I tried out an idea I had based on some of the shots I'd seen from Star Trek: TNG.

It took about an hour to take 3 shots. Then after looking them over, and doing some editing; I decided to make a few collages by cutting/pasting the single shuttlecraft from the live shoot into the photo.

My first attempt at the Brenizer Method. Effective 28mm f1, 16 Photos. From left to right: Yashica-A 80mm 1:3,5 TLR, Yashica Mat-124 G 80mm 1:3,5 TLR, Minolta 9000AF SLR, Praktica MTL5 B SLR

Fun at Camera Club tonight with different lighting effects. Using flash in strobe mode.

Hier ein Schwarz-Weiß-Experiment "Nature's Geometry - Triangels and a Circle".

Last weekend I hiked in the mountains with my family. The "Fotschertal" is a tributary valley of the "Sellraintal". I visited this area quite often, but I have never been on the lake area above the "Potsdamer Hütte" in summer. I was really surprised because this area is very photogenic. Here is a black and white experiment called "Nature's Geometry - Triangles and a Circle".

Scudding clouds gave this very brief highlighting of a vivid green field in Hertfordshire. Note the backlit rim of the silhouetted tree showing its autumn colours.

It's a long, one-and-a-half circle skirt, purple and lovely. I keep forgetting I have it, or saving it to wear on special occasions, but today I rememberred it :-)

Krysha is actively modeling in north east of England, you can contact her through me.

sometimes I try so hard to think outside the box . . . I mean, one of my professors in college used to say, "In photography, it's all been done before" and I get that, but I want to be different. . . & I want to be origional . . . sometimes (I think) you just gotta suck it up & do the things that you know have been done & try to put your own spin on it!

anyway, today was a good (super long) day. . . I really like my new job & I'm hoping that the novelty doesn't wear off! nighty night!

I really liked the way the sunlight picked out the delicate pink blush on these petals. I've enhanced the effect in Photoshop Elements by applying a small soft omni effect on the petals in the back gound to enhance the blush

On a walk up by Stonyhills, near Stapleford. I just love the shape of this tree.

Akasaka was our stop!

I liked the delicate creamy vanilla and yellow tones in the petals of these white tulips. I've manipulated the image with lighting effects to emphasis the tulips as it was a cloudy day.
