There are a number of quite solid block-like shapes in this image which I thought it might be interesting to experiment with using one colour filter and the dark areas of the original

Orégano sobre blancas sábanas,
música desde un piano,
música desde un clavicordio.
Lavo tus platos mientras escucho la ópera.
Luego armo tu cama.
Lirios blancos del casamiento de alguien.
Nena santa, nena maldita.
Puedo ser las dos cosas.
Mi dualidad.
Mi ambigüedad.
La consistencia de mi ser.
A pesar de todo.
Holly that flowers in the fall. Seems strange -- like not enough time to grow berries by Christmas. Our other holly is loaded with bright red berries

Beside a butchers in Whitby. View the unedited here.
- Lighting conditions altered to give him a more menacing look, and to suggest that unnatural butchery has just happened down that alleyway...
I was n't sure what to do with this image. I liked the reflctions of the trees and banches in the water. Because of the bright sunlight in the mist there is a sharp difference in the lighting which I decided to explore. I converted it to black and white and then played with lighting effects in Elements which is whre the pink tinge came from.

In over twelve hours (2 x photo shoots at Vivid Sydney festival), the colour schemes projected onto the Sydney Opera House were never repeated.
This iconic structure has never before been given such an original and vividly creative colour treatment. It should be a permanent feature in my humble opinion..... it was like watching liquid art!! =)
If you see any pics in this stream that you like, they can be made into cards, prints and more! See wildtrek.redbubble.com/ or contact duke992st-cyber@yahoo.com.au
Created by the same people who put on Vivid Sydney, Lithglo 2012 saw iconic heritage and historic buildings lit up in a new light! It was an awesome display and at the Blast Furnace, the light show was complimented by a fog machine, music and industrial sounds.

From a classroom demonstration of simple lighting. The demonstration used a flashlight with a "snoot." There are more images and information about calculating exposure for a "snooted" flashlight. Go to my Photostream, and then look for the Brief Lighting Demo Album.

Decided to make my dad a fathers day card for today, i thought it would be a good idea seeing how my brother and i both forgot to buy one. It turned out better this way!
Anyway my Dad is a pretty big fan of Jaguar cars, i didn't have time to take a photograph of his one, so i had to work from a silver one i found online and turned it into what you see here.
Check out the original picture here.
