This is such a beautiful original. Her expression is so wonderful. I used the magnetic lasso tool to select the model and fan. I copied this to a new layer and added a background I made. I moved the original image layer between the new background and selected layers. I applied this as hard light and eleimated most except for the edges of her hair. This allowed the fine hairs to remain and blend better with the new background. I tweaked her beautiful eyes a bit, and added contrast to her fan with selections made by the lasso tool. Thank you so much Bruna* for letting me work on your fantastic photo.

This is an absolutely-clear-appearing glass platter sitting on top of a deep stainless-steel soup pot sitting on my black kitchen counter. That counter is a real pain to keep clean-looking but it is wonderful for experimenting with light effects. shot at night with a lamp overhead.

I thought this was great photo..the motion in the dress and ribbon are really cool. I used the lasso tool with a very strong feather to select the subject icopied and pasted this to a new layer and relit it with a spotlight. I used this layer as a soft light applicator.
I used the lasso again to select some of the chairs and copied them and scaled for the bottom right foreground. I then scaled the full image to crop out the pdium and small staircase. I flattened the image and duplicated the background layer. I applied 2 pixels of median noise to help soften some of the pixel noise. Iused the airbrush eraser to allow the detailed portion of her dress to come back through.
Thank you dee'lightful photos, for letting me work on your wonderful photo.
I can't quite work out why each light source has changed its form in a different way... in the end it was just a very slow shutter speed at night with a sudden movement.
This photo is from a business trip to Gothenburg. An evening stroll through the city clears the head.
I like the contrast between the blue sky and the bright city lights in this photo.
