morning light on frosted weeds along the edge of a small canoe and kayak launching area

phographed at sunset with a long exposure from a moving car.

2017 Total Solar Eclipse in Oregon, USA...searching for a site to set up our equipment...Madras was a nightmare with close to 100,000 people and cars jamming the Motel and all available fields, so had to look elsewhere...eventually we found the perfect spot near the Painted Hills Unit of the John Day Fossil Beds Nat'l Monument...and settled in for the night...just time for a short hike before getting ready to sleep...me in the car and scott on the ground outside...

God knows how many people have sat on this bench, and the conversations shared between people who sat here would have been special and unique in their own way.

This old building was given lots of PP love by myself, to give it a mysterious, old-world feel.. Enjoy!

I can't quite work out why each light source has changed its form in a different way... in the end it was just a very slow shutter speed at night with a sudden movement.

This is such a beautiful original. Her expression is so wonderful. I used the magnetic lasso tool to select the model and fan. I copied this to a new layer and added a background I made. I moved the original image layer between the new background and selected layers. I applied this as hard light and eleimated most except for the edges of her hair. This allowed the fine hairs to remain and blend better with the new background. I tweaked her beautiful eyes a bit, and added contrast to her fan with selections made by the lasso tool. Thank you so much Bruna* for letting me work on your fantastic photo.

Upright shot rotated to landscape during exposure.
