2017 Total Solar Eclipse in Oregon, USA...searching for a site to set up our equipment...Madras was a nightmare with close to 100,000 people and cars jamming the Motel and all available fields, so had to look elsewhere...eventually we found the perfect spot near the Painted Hills Unit of the John Day Fossil Beds Nat'l Monument...and settled in for the night...

what more can you ask for on Christmas after a perfect day..how about spectactular light at sunset!!!...

I noticed this morning how the sun was shining through my bathroom window onto a bracelet causing pretty light patterns. So out comes the camera!

The photographer had asked to work on some of the textures some as well as details on the face. I used mostly the lasso tool to select portions of the image andded some contrast and sharpening to bring out the details. I liked the hich contrast of the lighting, but toned it down some with darkening layers.

I added some line work on a couple layers using different light modes. I was just showing some examples, this is on seperate layers, so I can easily remove it too.
