I really liked the composition of this photo, and the expressions are great. I used the lasso tool to select portions of the subjects and ad some contrats and brightness to them. I added some brightnes to the woman's eyes as well, and sharpened portions of her sweater. to try and bring out the textures some.
I added a new background on a couple layers as a hard light mode and a multiplier. I adjusted the color and tones to try and work with the original image. Thank you so much thetonezone, for letting me work on your wonderful photo.
in and around Okaukuejo Camp (Lodge) and Etosha National Park...at the camp waterhole, wildlife was abundant toward nightfall every night...early dawn of a new day in Etosha National Park...

I'm deviating from my usual flower-cafe-stranger flow and taking a pic of the inside of a car! Look how shiny! No processing on those lighting effects.
With the proper amount of work, my picture editing is beginning to look like I want it to look like.
