I thought this was great photo..the motion in the dress and ribbon are really cool. I used the lasso tool with a very strong feather to select the subject icopied and pasted this to a new layer and relit it with a spotlight. I used this layer as a soft light applicator.
I used the lasso again to select some of the chairs and copied them and scaled for the bottom right foreground. I then scaled the full image to crop out the pdium and small staircase. I flattened the image and duplicated the background layer. I applied 2 pixels of median noise to help soften some of the pixel noise. Iused the airbrush eraser to allow the detailed portion of her dress to come back through.

I have a bit of a weird obsession with light leaks at the moment, but it looked kind of cool on this photo so I used it.
My outcome after following a tutorial on chroma wallpapers. The text is something that came to mind with all those lines pointing up.

Edited in PicMonkey, clouds textures as various blending modes.
This is an absolutely-clear-appearing glass platter sitting on top of a deep stainless-steel soup pot sitting on my black kitchen counter. That counter is a real pain to keep clean-looking but it is wonderful for experimenting with light effects. shot at night with a lamp overhead.
The feint glow from the semi-boarded up window is the only light in this room, until the door is opened
Baked potato on aluminium foil, cut in half. Grated parmesan on top. Sliced with herbes de Provence grilled pork fillet. Red background with light effect.

I thought this a very interesting original and quite theatrical. I combined it with a strongly lit and high contrasted shot. The black background helps allow for very strong lighting. I used the polygonal lasso tool to push the black to solid. I copied the shot of the woman to a new layer and used the distort function to better match the perspective of the glass.
I duplicated the layer with the woman several times and applied one layer as hard light, and to two as normal with one as a 25% opacity. Using the lasso tool with a very strong feather, I selected and deleted portions of each layer. The soft feather allows the selections to blend very smoothly. I added one more layer on top as screen mode to help brighten and highlight it some.
