Inside the revolving doors of Hotel van Eetvelde in Brussels, where Art Nouveau design meets shadow and repetition. A study in geometry and light, reminding us that even an exit can feel like a labyrinth.
It was a privilege to see a Swan family enjoying special family moments in a relatively small pond, have seen them many a times fly up and down over Calgary for many years, have also seen them nest on larger bodies of water, this is first opportunity to see them up close, I made a video which I posted few days ago.
I had to go back to report on the pair of swan's and five healthy Cygnets that helped to make my first video clip, nature is amazing.

the steps stretched out like a symphony, each line a silent note in perfect rhythm. shadows played across the concrete, carving soft curves into the stillness of the scene. no people, no noise—just the geometry of the urban landscape in its raw, unadorned beauty.
it felt timeless, as if these lines had always been there, inviting the light to dance and the eye to wander. the simplicity held its own elegance—a quiet reminder that even the mundane can hold the power to captivate.
in the narrow alleys of palma, where light and shadow dance, a solitary figure stands, merging with the urban fabric. the city whispers its secrets through shadows cast by ancient lamps, blending the past with the present in a silent conversation.

My goal with this series is to explore every day scenes under the cover of darkness. A street corner, a lamp post, a doorway. Big city, small town, urban, rural. Man-made light versus nature’s darkness–––light and shadow interpreting minimalist settings in black and white. To see more in this series, check out Cover Of Darkness
It is always a treat to witness the first rays of the morning sun kiss the mountain peaks at Glacier National Park.

There can be no photography without light so here is one with the very minimal light :)
It has been a thrilling journey since I got my camera. I learnt a few things along the way. If you were to ask me about it and If I had to say it standing on one leg then this might be it:
A picture is one too many,
A picture is one too less.
Styles are charming but
Subject over style.
Professionals carve a niche,
As amateurs, why do we care.
Rules are important but,
Rules be damned.
Photograph is important but,
Not as important as why you took it.
Photograph is about the subject but
It is more about you.
Photography can be realistic, but
It could as easily fall in the realm of fantasy.
