Frühling am Sella Joch,
unseren bereits gebuchten Urlaub im Juni in den Dolomiten haben wir aus aktuellem Anlass abgesagt :-(
there were three billygoats
or maybe three bears
with a beanstalk
geese
a tree that knew a bird
a sun that knew an earth
a turtle somewhere
a porridge
a journey
a spin
a song
a tilt
always they were on their way
it was a quest
a wobble
towards
just the right
arguable
lamentable
laughable
amount of light...
happy solstice to you
whatever season you're within :-)
forgive me for deleting group comment codes...
they're not my thing.. tho I do appreciate the visit!
Lupine
In het Latijn staat het woord 'lupus' voor wolf. De naam van de Lupine is daar van afgeleid. Mensen dachten dat de Lupine-plant de voedingsstoffen uit de grond opslokte net zoals wolven dat met hun voedsel doen.
happy earth day
I'm a little late...
but I'm sure it should be earth day everyday anyway :-)
whether quietly or in words
sincerely thank you for the company here!! 💛
Down in a deep dark gorge with clear blue skies above mid morning, not the best conditions - a struggle with shadows/highlights even with wide bracketing...the tree canopy did provide some shelter...but a lot of light crept through...
Taken deep in a forest in Turkey
The essence of photography is light and shadow so why wouldn't you shoot architecture. 😊 This cluster of buildings are on the Albert Embankment, in Lambeth.
and for those inclined, 'Celeste' from Pete Kuzma's album EQUILIbrium www.youtube.com/watch?v=vsWSvLmw1g0
here's to the dance of light and shadow

Taken under the walkway of the Port Melbourne Yacht Club pier , Port Melbourne Beach on a sunny day. Love how the light coming through the timber walkway created the patterns on the sand and water.
Here is another oldie but Goldie

HMBT
This is another photo from my stroll through the foggy forest around where I live. I took this in a rather dark part of the forest where only conifers tress grows. Therefore, the light almost completely came from the lighter parts of the forest where it got diffused by the mist. This gave the whole scene a wonderful elvish feel.
