The sun broke through what and been a cloudy stormy day. Unfortunately it was near the end of a long tough drive from Idaho to California. This shot was taken in Nevada.

Learning Stilleben/ Stillleben, Danish, German etc. before fresh fruits, flowers, vegetables, can travel through ice rain and lockdown to pose for me. :-(

Last week I posted images I took of the ice sculptures clinging to reeds in a lake nearby. We went back there after a snowfall and this is what the reeds looked like this time.
there were three billygoats
or maybe three bears
with a beanstalk
geese
a tree that knew a bird
a sun that knew an earth
a turtle somewhere
a porridge
a journey
a spin
a song
a tilt
always they were on their way
it was a quest
a wobble
towards
just the right
arguable
lamentable
laughable
amount of light...

Lupine
In het Latijn staat het woord 'lupus' voor wolf. De naam van de Lupine is daar van afgeleid. Mensen dachten dat de Lupine-plant de voedingsstoffen uit de grond opslokte net zoals wolven dat met hun voedsel doen.

Taken under the walkway of the Port Melbourne Yacht Club pier , Port Melbourne Beach on a sunny day. Love how the light coming through the timber walkway created the patterns on the sand and water.
