The way the snow gently blankets the lawn looks like it belongs on another continent. I never really just stopped and looked at the snow this way before. Besides, you don't have to cut the grass when it looks this way :)
Today, likely light and shadows on snow won’t be visible as it’s lightly snowing here right now - only upside not much accumulation is expected.

Another winter shot---took this a few weeks ago--still not many signs of spring around here--but SOON I hope! HAVE A GREAT DAY--THANKS FOR VISITING!
I send all of my NGYSA and Scenic Michigan friends greetings and well wishes from my wife and I. We hope you are staying well in the face of the horrific virus, COVID-19. I took this photo yesterday at the For-Mar Nature Preserve and Arboretum, one of the Genesee County Parks.
Mostly rainy day here, a good time to go through the files trying to remember sunny trips.
This is part of the structure aboard the Caribbean Princess.
The Princess ships are beautiful. I don't know if these details have any function other than beautifully catching the sun and casting shadows!
The days are longer, it was about 7:30 PM when I pulled over to take this picture. My eyes were drawn to the light on the large hill and the foreground, with shadow between. All these sheep, and one mostly brown cow, "enjoying" I suppose, the lush green grass in Oregon.
