There was a couple of this banners still hung in the parking lot light posts, kind of adding insult to injury...

Frank Lloyd Wright's Unity Temple in Oak Park, IL. I found the outside rather bleak, but I liked the fact that most of the worshipers look down on the pulpit, it had a very (imperial senate chamber in the new Star Wars movies feel to it only smaller).
I've been enjoying seeing the light hit the light posts on the quad during sunset for the past few months, so I did a series of photos focused on the light posts.
One of those old streets down in Savannah. Pretty crazy since nothing really was level with each other...as you can see haha - 3 shot HDR
To show how important these light posts and house lights are. I experimented on different apertures to capture all the lights, but not making the picture too dark or too bright.

This was taken January this year and it stands out to me because sometimes life will inspire you and if you're lucky it will make you smile in some of the most unexpected ways. This photo was taken on day 3 of a daily photo challenge between myself and one of my friends; my friend was constantly getting amazing photos because they lived in the city and I lived in a developing residential suburban area. This night I was going to give up because I felt like it was impossible to keep up on a daily basis. I decided I would give it one last try and do some night photography while I was in motion (something I don't recommend); the first photo I took was one of a Sunoco gas station which gave me the idea to take some in an area that was primarily lit by traffic signals and old fashioned light posts. This is one of many photos I caught in a series that made me smile and gave me the bright idea to keep doing what I was doing because when it's my time to capture those vivid moments I will be there with my camera ready.
