another shot near my office.
I had planned to have a strong blue sky (was quite a sunny day) or to use a red filter to turn the sky black and the post light. a large amount of flare left me with no option but a blue filter - very happy with results though.

A spooky place to stay in Estes Park, Colorado.
This was a small set up in my kitchen. a black bed sheet hanging up in the background and i turned all the lights off. Then I had one 60w building site lamp behind a five in one reflector/diffuser to soften the light. Post editing was done on photo shop and easy focus.
found on a light post in downtown Houston. It had been raining so it must have just been placed there.

This Week in Bristol Indiana - 5-20-18. The Bristol Parks Dept. with assistance from the Bristol Friends of the Park and the Bristol Lions Club met on main street on Sunday, May 20, 2018, to plant the flower pots for downtown Bristol. From left to right in Photo 1: Janet Swank of the Lions Club, Jen Purviance (Lori's daughter), Lori Dreamer, Penny Bucks, and Susie Meeks-Wade. It was pouring rain, and although they had considered only doing one side of the street, they met the challenge and finished both sides of Vistula Street. When they were done, they had to wring out their clothes, but they laughed the whole time, and had fun together. They had been advised not to plant the pots in front of the Town Hall, as they will need to be moved first, since the existing Town Hall and Police Department will need to relocate prior by Sept., 2018, for construction work to begin in Oct. to remodel the existing hall. They will also add the the extension to the building to house the new Community Complex, which will be handicapped accessible. The hanging baskets were planted last week, and hung up on the light posts by the Town Maintenance Department.
