Long exposure time light painting shot taken on the side patio of our house.

 

Attached a rope light to a PVC frame and twisted it to make the diamond shape.

 

Light traced some tulip garden lamps for additional effect.

 

Fired two SB-800 flashes with orange (ish) colored gels.

Just starting to play with the Nikon after a long break...

33 114 and 33 003 wind their way past Sherrington as they head south light engine

Ever since I was a kid, I was fascinated with the bikes from the movie Tron and Akira. You know, those light bikes that leave a streak of light as they go by.

 

Major cities freeways are much like that. Especially at night where a long exposure shows a great trail of light. I attempted to mimic a city of cars by shooting this one early morning.

Strobist: Sacada con una linterna en mi mano y bajando poco a poc ohasta meterla dentro del objetivo. Tiempo de exposicion creo q de unos 4 segundos.

The sunlight illuminates the nearby stone pillars as I stare down the nave of Canterbury Cathedral, Kent.

We are no more than candles burning in the wind.

facing the window..

used one of my favorite Lightroom presets "Color Creative - Color CP 3" to give some blue shades.

It is better to light a candle than curse the darkness.
