My second plate from Latvia this year, going on Mont-Blanc bridge in Geneva.
Distance from home: 2250 km.
"King of the Speedway, Monarch of the Road." I'm told the vehicle marque is the National, but no idea of what year it was manufactured. Alas, no clue to the owner through the license plate number and even less to the identity of the fashionable woman posing in front of it. (Check out her shoes.) It might be a 1911 National '40', but I'm out of my depth here.

This image of the Owl was taken from a moving car. We were driving to Lochindorb, which is in Scotland early one morning, I was the passenger in the car when this SEO started to fly along the road next to the car, I wound down the window and I managed to get one shot before it flew up into the hills. I was Gobsmacked.
I have also included a couple of record shots, one of the Loch we were visiting, which has a castle in the middle, and one of a pair of Black-throated Divers with a baby that were on the Loch. I had never seen a baby before, it was so small and so lovely to see but the Loch is huge so the photo has been taken from quite a distance.
Taken with my Canon 7D and 100-400 Canon IS Lens .

The Memorial Hiroshima Peace, called Summit Genbaku Dome or Atomic Bomb by the Japanese, is located in Hiroshima, Japan.
Just some plates I've collected over the years. The New York Liberty plate was a gift (though it is a genuine New York plate, not a fake novelty item). All the others were finds.
I think I have another stack of plates somewhere at my parents' house...I'll try to bring them back here sometime.

Showed up late so I had to rush this one together. I love shooting at the beach this time of year, there wasn't a person in sight. The tide and sky color came together for this angle. I took this from the south end of Hampton Beach State Park.
