The first day of Winter at Waterfall Gully in Adelaide, South Australia.
The constant drizzle and gloomy skies today washed away any flagging motivation I could summon to make a drive down to the Fleurieu peninsula.
I decided to shoot Waterfall Gully instead, counting on the weather to free up the usually packed carpark.
Apart from having to wipe down my lens almost every shot, it was a great afternoon with rain-slicked leaves glistening a golden brown.

Empty Sky memorial, New Jersey. This memorial is dedicated to those who lost their lives in 911 attack. Photography wise, the reflection together with the sunset colors is amazing. This shot was from mixed travel projects in New York City in 2017.

Even snel de 4C pakken voor een ritje gaat niet lukken, maar gezien de kentekenplaten (beide uit de Sloveense stad Kranj - KR) zullen ze wel bij elkaar horen. Hoewel een liefhebbersauto als de Alfa 4C wel een gekke combi is met de Model S. De Macan heeft iets verder moeten rijden, grofweg zo'n 1430 kilometer vanaf Andorra. Vanuit Kranj is het slechts 165 kilometer naar de Kroatische badplaats.

Quickly getting the 4C for a ride won't work, but given the license plates (both from the Slovenian city of Kranj - KR) I think they must belong together. Although an enthusiast's car like the Alfa 4C is a weird combination with the Model S. The Macan had to drive a little further, roughly 1430 kilometers from Andorra. From Kranj it's only 165 kilometers to the Croatian seaside resort.

This Six seconds long exposure was taken standing in the River Cray at an altitude of Twenty two metres at 05:17am on Sunday 22nd March 2020, in the golden hour around sunrise, (Sunrise was at precisely 05:56am),off Rectory Lane in the grounds of Foots Cray Meadows, over the River Cray in Bexley, Kent, England.
The COVID-19 Coronavirus has seen myself and many others adopting self isoaltion for a number of weeks due to being on the Government and NHS register for 'Severely at risk', due to underlying health issues. So this was my last foray into the freedom of a sunrise shoot with nobody else around.

I met up with two fellow 100 Strangers shooters last week, Alistair and Arnab and we headed out onto the streets. We walked from Covent Garden to Carnaby Street through Soho but were struggling to get started and find someone to photograph, however it still gave us a good chance to scout locations and talk which was excellent.
When we hit Carnaby Street we decided to hang around as it was reasonably busy, it was then that I spotted Sandrina - wearing her fur coat, hat and the blonde hair. Unlike my usual self I hesitated and didn't approach her instead let her walk by. The guys I was shooting with hadn't started either so despite thinking me a bit mad I think they understood.
Fortunately 5 minutes later I saw her again as she was walking down the road and I made my approach. I asked Sandrina to move off the busy road and we ventured up a side street to a lovely cobbled street running parallel to the shopping street we were on.
Sandrina is from Malta and she was off to New York the next day - her family run a international wedding business so I made sure to give her a business card just in case they ever need any extra photographers!
It was a lovely encounter and a great way to get started on the day's planned street portraits.
