My first plate from Treiste, in the East of the country, surrounded by Slovenia! A 1994 plate!

I'll be posting more shots of this beautiful, golden brown jumping spider in the days to come, but I think this shot is my favorite. Exact species unknown - see this album if you with to help with the ID. I'm often amazed at how the colors of these spiders match their surroundings. Spotted at the Montreal Botanical Garden.
Pentax D-FA 100mm F/2.8 WR Macro, with HD DA 1.4x AW tele-converter, Raynox DCR-250 diopter, and off-camera diffused Godox AD180 flash. Single shot, and pretty sure this was at MFD, plus a moderate crop. Frame is about 7.5mm wide here.

My first spot from St-Petersburg, spotted on my first night! I'm studying in Russia for the next semester, I hope I'll see many interesting plates and cars!

I really like the Ford Flex, it has a lovely styling that actually suits the size of the car. There aren't many around in Germany, obviously. Surprising to see one from Bad Segeberg.

Another one of the temples and pavilions you can find in the Castle Gardens in Laxenburg. It's a beautiful place for a stroll at any time of the year, even in autumn and winter.

A little game we play every year on the way to and from Texas. Keeps the boys busy and not asking if we are there yet. Especially since 8 hours of the 18-19 hour trip is just getting out of Florida!! :) This year's game was pretty successful. Even saw a few Dubai license plates and a bunch of Canadian plates. :)
Spotted in the center of the city, this plate for foreign residents! That's the second African plate I spotted that day, a few minutes after the Libyan BMW!

Photograph taken at an altitude of One metres in the golden hour around sunrise, (Sunrise was at precisely 05:26am), at 05:22am on Thursday May 3rd 2018 off Botany Road and Foreness Close on the sandy shoreline of Botany Bay, the northern most of seven bays in Broadstairs , Kent, England.
Thanet offshore windfarm was officially opened on September 23rd 2010 and was for a time, the largest offshore windfarm project in the world. The eight lines of turbines, one hundred of them in total, run north-west to south-east, covering a total area of 35sq km off Foreness Point near Margate.
