We used the gate to gauge the level of the flood. At the height of it, the flood almost reached the 4th level, and our house is elevated.

I made this card for a gamer friend's birthday. I used the Balloon Strings background because it reminded me of wires.
This scene has changed beyond all recognition, with the expansion of the railway, largely to accommodate 'Fast Train' services, and the closure of this once busy level crossing in favour of a road overpass.

These are three variations of level adjustments I did. A is the original and B and C have the exposure blown out.
Flower is a visually gorgeous game which also works as a great demonstration of the PlayStation 3 Sixaxis's tilt feature. Dozens of people played the game and we had to keep resetting it to its easiest first level.

A 24 metre natural mound in the Somerset Levels, UK. Probably used as a Norman motte with a terraced track spiralling around the hill. A 15th century church was used by Royalist troops during the English Civil War. Rebuilding of the church started in 1793, but due to shortage of money was abandoned, leaving the ruins we see today. If sea levels rise, the mump could once again become a refuge: the surrounding drained Levels are up to 6 metres below the high tide in the neighbouring Bristol Channel. Both the words "burrow" and "mump" mean hill, so it must have made a big impression on the locals!

Looking at the different levels of tracks at Fir, the Summit of the San Luis & Rio Grande Railroad, the track that exits at right center heads to Alamosa, the One at the upper left loops and connects with the track in the foreground on the left bottom. From the Right Bottom, the track heads to La Veta and Walsenburg....

We are almost back to pre-COVID-19 levels. And that's despite the Leicester City boundary only a mile away.
I apologize for the quality of this photo, due to low light level & taking it through the window. I am putting it up for the sake of record-keeping. This is the 7th day since the adult male Bullock's Oriole arrived at my deck. He feeds for the first time in the day at approximately 7:15 am--regular as clockwork. Yesterday, he arrived at 7:16; today, at 7:17 am. He flies straight to the dish of pb & j (seems to prefer strawberry to grape), "sips" for a few minutes & flies off. Last Sunday, the only day I was home all day since he arrived, he returned about once an hour till approximately 4:15 pm, when the sun was starting to set. Looks like this fellow may be around for awhile. With that in mind, I did some research last night on additional foods I may supply, as well as getting him a more appropriate feeder, more protected from the rodents & the elements.
