Shopping mall parking garage in San Jose, CA. Yet another location where a rent-a-cop questioned me about what I was taking pictures of. That gets SO ANNOYING especially when they bring up 9/11. It infuriates me. I was also told to stop taking pictures of flowers at my hospital after being watched by security police for about 30 minutes. It makes me want to scream. Somehow the word "tourist" has become confused with "terrorist."

This year saw the 10th running of the annual Southern Classic Festival held at Levels Raceway near Timaru in the South Island of New Zealand. Over 200 bikes were in action over 3 days, plus a large display of bikes. On show or on track were bikes ranging from Vintage through to the 90’s though my photos focus on pre 85 bikes as that is my interest. A great event celebrating its tenth year with a great atmosphere and full access to the pits.

The Longmont Sugar Mill. One of Colorado's top abandoned locations. One of the closest locations you will find in Colorado that compares to the monstrous factories that lay abandoned out east. After almost running into the owners in the north building nearly two years ago, I had been itching to get back and try to hack the northern building again. That day finally came. After a tricky infiltration(many cars driving by, workers operating equipment nearby and people walking around outside of adjacent buildings), my crew and I finally made it in. And this time, we were the only ones on location. Such an amazing trip. This has become my all time favorite location.

Union Pacific eastbound stack train wrapped around WaterWorks Curve at Sterling, IL. Good thing that single-level EMP container was nicely placed in the train as the UP 7921 East works toward Nelson.
Picked this piece up on the track leading to the Payrock lower level. This shot is hand held couldn't be bothered setting up the setup or the lighting..

A nice lunchtime visit to Quainton Road today to swap some GPO uniforms for some street jewelry not central to their collection.
It is a great site with a fantastic collection of signs and railwayana..
I then put up the drone to take a look at the huge works for HS2 that pass by the site and cut off the former Great CEntral Railway route to the north. The road bridge has been infilled to strengthen it for HS2 construction traffic. The southern stop block on the GC mainline is just at the end of their site, with disused track stretching away towards Aylesbury Vale Parkway.
