Each grade level at Hiatt Middle School took turns enjoying the Holiday Extravaganza in the gymnasium ahead of winter break. Students engaged with community partner tables to learn about holidays, ornament decoration, holiday photo stations, and partake in hot chocolate and cookies.
Admiralty (Chinese: 金鐘) is a Mass Transit Railway (MTR) station located on Hong Kong Island, in an area often referred to as Admiralty.
The station connects the Tsuen Wan line with the Island line and the South Island line, with a future interchange to the East Rail line under construction as part of the Sha Tin to Central Link project.

One that nearly got away when I was upstairs waiting for the Tug was 0Z37 Gresty Bridge to Stowmarket.
DRS Class 37 no. 37510 runs light up the Trent Valley through Tamworth when the sun was out. The sun wasn't out when it mattered though :-(

Sometimes it's nice to bring yourself down to their level. It's where you get the best shots.
Most of my clothes have dirt stains on them because I'm constantly rolling around on the ground trying to find the right angle.

A couple of attempts to get this shot, the craftsman was rather quick with the level the first time.
On processing I felt this would work for a selective colour image but I have this slight feeling that the use of the selective colour here detracts from the 'story' that the image naturally portrays. I seem to concentrate more on the level than on the scene and it was the scene that I 'saw' and wanted to take.

An general view of the level crossing of the signal box was there to protect.
The barriers where installed in 2009, in preparation for the line to be converted to ERTMS. Unfortunately, this meant that due to an overlap of track circuits in the station, the barriers couldn't be raised until a train had left the station, which when the train was early (sometime as much as 10 mines) the barriers where lowered, creating traffic, and causing passengers to miss their train.

Irish Rail Class 29000 DMU number 29020 rounds the corner at the top of the climb up to the level crossing at Blasketown in Leixlip with a commuter service to Maynooth. In the forgeround you can see that this is level crossing number 14, and in the right mid-ground you can see it's at milepost 12¼.
