with what's been going on so far this year I have let myself go a bit. my hair need dying again, the old boat race has suffered a lot. if I get anymore lines my face will look like a map.
mind you I will be in Malta in a couple of weeks for a few days
For a self portrait project, the theme of "Monsters" has allowed me create something inspired by horror movies, where someone/ something is stood or lurking outside a foggy window. I wanted to emulate this effect dramatically (on a freezing cold night where I had to keep running inside between shots to warm up). I wanted that coldness to come across in the image.
Back from a weekend trip to Salzburg. It was very nice and wintery with a great Christmas atmosphere.
We went up to the castle. This was taken in some of the fancy rooms inside.

Drac wants to come in! She peeks through the kitchen window to see if someone is there to let her in! (Yikes - I just washed those windows a couple months ago!!)
The funny part is when I open the door for her - at least half the time she turns and walks away!! Or she comes in and about 30 seconds later is meowing her head off to go back out again!!! Arggggh! I really think its a game with some cats.

It started off as a right dull, depressing day today so I've been wondering for a while what to get a picture of. The dog started playing up so we've put her outside and the sun suddenly came out, so here it is! This was actually taken through the glass.
