This lotus was within my reach too to my joy. This pink must pale when it is in full bloom. After many days of severe heat it rained at last.

My flickr site reached 100,000 view today. Thank you for your comments and favorites in the past 2 years. I do read everyone of your comments and appreciate your feedback. It has been quite an exciting and self-discovery journey for me since I started taking photos exactly 2 years ago this month. I had come to realize that Flickr is such a great community that I can't not live without on my photographic exploration.

my pilot-artist-lawyer friend, Micah, just identified this one! To quote him in this post, the plane is "the Let 410 UVP ...made by (a) Czech factory..,Polish design, but built under license by Avia... (with) 20 seats. The LET was designed to operate from short, primitive airstrips of which the former Soviet bloc had many."
