Well, I fibbed--made time to post one more pic. XD I had Raven dancing on the dock. Hey, she's pretty young, she should have some fun sometimes! As long as she doesn't fall into the water . . . of course, since George and Ed owe her favor maybe they'd come to her rescue.

Week 27
The week of the fourth. Looking back on it, the beginning of this week was pretty insane. Lots of flares were lit off and lots of beautiful photos were made. George, Paul, and I started off the week with just some driving around and hanging out. I took some random photos here and there that came out rather beautifully. Then on the 3rd, Teddy was back home and he joined George and I at the end of the day to light off some road flares which is something we haven't done in a long time. The 4th had to be the craziest day of all. George, Paul, Scott, and I spent the whole afternoon filming an Instagram video as well as celebrating Independence day by shooting off road flares at dumpster hill. The rest of the week was filled with a lot of work but it was an amazing week none the less.
I can't wait to see what this next week will bring!

I needed a little bit (or a lot) of inspiration and motivation to stop fussing on the crisis of our time and to start focusing on the power that we do have to do stuff. In might have come from a little 2 minute movie on Youtube made from snippets of other movies...but what the hell...it worked for me to paint and make these tees! after this last snowfall we are around 3" shy of the all time record. The only year when there was more snow in Detroit than this year was back in the 1880's when I was just a young 'un.

This is the time of year in San Diego when we get some enormous tidal swings creating some very low or negative tides. That exposes the tide pools at Cardiff State beach that attract lots of not-so-deep sea explorers. This shot kicks off a series I'm doing on "Exploring the Tide Pools".

Keys for the bone? I think the dog is a little smarter then the pirates think he is. I am fairly happy with the way this turned out. I rode this a few times and had to take the image from a good distance back with the 50 1.4. I am not completely happy with the white balance, think the image is still too yellow.
