Amaryllis flower colors are usually red, white, pink, or coral. Amaryllis Lemon Lime throws all of that on its head, with its floriferous yellow-lime green bloom stalks. Yellow amaryllis are extremely rare and this one delivers stunning blooms. Amaryllis Lemon Lime flowers are a citrusy color in a soft shade that hovers between light frosty yellow and pale green. This amaryllis is truly one of a kind.
A bit shorter than many amaryllis, Lemon Lime has conical, lemon-green flowers. The flower may be whiter or more yellow depending on the place of cultivation.

I actually came up with this idea when I was working with my youngest daughter on her fractions.
No matter how you slice it, its still half lemon and half lime. :-)

So, this is for Macro Mondays theme of Citrus. However, due to unexpected circumstances, i did not get to upload by their deadline, which is still Monday here. Would have been fun to share there.

It was invented by Charles Leiper in 1929 in St. Louis, MO. Many have tried to copy it's popularity..... Sprite & Sierra Mist are it's current competitors. Do you remember Bubble Up and Teem? I do.... (yee-gads - that sure dates me... LOL)

A set of all four new collectible Mountain Dew bottle designs featuring Nascar themes. So far I have seen them at Wal-Marts and one gas station, so my previous assumption that they were WalMart-only is apparently not correct.

Doo's best psycho-kitty impression. To both our surprise, it was demented enough to land him #19 on Explore 2/8/07. :) Large.
Of all the ghost signs that I've ever run across, most are Coca-Cola or some other product like auto parts, biscuits, or some type of farm products or auto dealer. This sign is the Sprite (another Coca-Cola product) and, other than the very bottom where someone painted over part of it with white, is in great shape. Additionally, across the top of the wall is advertisement for Don's Paint & Body Shop.
Three bracketed photos were taken with a handheld Nikon D7200 and combined with Photomatix Pro to create this HDR image. Additional adjustments were made in Photoshop CS6.
