You just call on me, brother, when you need a hand

We all need somebody to lean on.

I just might have a problem that you'll understand,

We all need somebody to lean on.

Lean on me when you're not strong

And I'll be your friend I'll help you carry on

For it won't be long

'Til I'm gonna need somebody to lean on

The African bush elephant (Loxodonta africana), also known as the African savanna elephant, is one of two extant African elephant species and one of three extant elephant species. It is the largest living terrestrial animal, with bulls reaching a shoulder height of up to 3.96 m (13 ft 0 in) and a body mass of up to 10.4 t (11.5 short tons).

The structure beside the boat is actually an old store. When I shot this place before, the store looked very vacant and unsued, still does, just looked liked a storage space for various items, but now it has a for sale sign on it. What I didn't realise is that the store and this boat are actually on water although you can't see it from this shot, the building is on stilts, I thought the place was flooded at first.

The light is all natural. Really it is. The blue? Also natural. In a sort of a way.

Fynn had a vet appointment today for a check-up. Over the last few weeks he has made a lot of progress but the main issue is that he seems to have a chronical virus infection. He probably already had that when he came to me. The viral infection causes the inflammation in his mouth and throat and facilitates bacterial superinfections. At the moment the vet is quite satisfied with the progress Fynn has made since January but there is still a long way to go. We will now start a new effort to leave him without antibiotics as he has received antibiotics for more than four months now. It's risky as when we tried that a few weeks ago his condition deteriorated drastically within a few days and we had to start with antibiotics again. I will also have to continue with the Feliserin injections twice a week. The Feliserin consists of viral antibodies and is supposed to support his immune system in fighting the virus. For the moment I would already be happy if he stayed stable without any "chemical" medication, although some more progress is always welcome !

Lean On Me: The trees and rocks in Joshua Tree National Park come together to form some fascinating scenes ... like this one where the joshua tree is leaning on the bolder for a little bit of support. What first caught my attention was the sculptured rock; then I noticed how the rock, tree, and sky all came together to form a composition that invites you into the scene.

Nothing of substance to lean against!

This is a lean out the door take picture and post it , NO adjustments whatsoever !

This is what it was like for most of the afternoon today , taken with the TZ60 and what you see is what it was .

Just before it turned like this there was a brief showing of the VERY red sun - missed that !

Apparently all down to the Hurricane Ophelia , in the South East we missed the terrible winds that hit Ireland and Wales but had this side effect . The colour was due to the winds coming up from the south carrying sands from the Sahara and smke from the awful fires in Portugal and Spain .

Very apt that this all took place exactly 30 years after The Great Storm of 1987.

It was all very Surreal !!

These are photos taken on my trip to Europe and the UK with a girl friend in October to November 2012. My camera I had then wasn't good with low light so some of these shots are not great but I have put them as my memories of the trip.

We have most of the day to fill in walking around Bruges before we catch the train to Amsterdam.

Queen Astrid Park was once a monastery garden, this park offers a gazebo & a picturesque pond with a fountain. Right in the heart of the city, near the Fish Market and Burg Square and in the shadow of Saint Magdalene’s Church, lies this glorious botanical park.

so this weekend my track team had a meet in Oregon at historic Hayward Field! :D it was really fun and so much happened. this was from friday night when me and some friends stayed up learning the dance in Party Rock Anthem! haha so fun! and then did some light painting cuz we got a noise complaint from the dancing haha... this is of me bending backwards while one of my friends waved an iPhone behind me as it changed colors :) anyways, my meet went alright, I got 14' 2" and was way way over 14' 7" but bumped it. so I'm hoping to get at least 15 this coming weekend :) on another note, im sooo excited its spring break now!! :D

We have taken a ride outside the city yesterday, being tempted by an amazing sky. We've decided to visit an area we have not explored before. We have discovered Beaverhill Lake Natural Area and decided to take a closer look. Beautiful place, great views, gorgeous sky and absolutely wonderful feel of spring in the air were our rewards. We have encountered a bit of hail brought by one of the gorgeous clouds while walking the paths, but it was a small price to pay for the most wonderful time we have had. Lots of birds, some butterflies, great smell of the aspen forest.. Just a beauty of a day. Here is a few of the shots I took on the way and while walking the trails. Hope you enjoy ;D
