Sanders Preserve, Glenville, New York. Unfortunately, whoever last partied there didn't clean up after themselves.
These two were hunting flies together the previous day. I'm sure it's the same two and I think they're in love
Lean On Me: The trees and rocks in Joshua Tree National Park come together to form some fascinating scenes ... like this one where the joshua tree is leaning on the bolder for a little bit of support. What first caught my attention was the sculptured rock; then I noticed how the rock, tree, and sky all came together to form a composition that invites you into the scene.

It was such a magical experience for me to watch this Fox family grow, still so many adorable shots to go through but this one stood out to me as they were both focused on the same thing....getting Mom's attention.
Family is important and just as true when it comes to wildlife. Nice to have someone to lean on, trust and depend that they'll be there when you need it most.

Coming back to SL. Not really posting a whole lot of photos like I did before.
I'm planning to post photos whenever I have the time and/or feeling like I want to.

This is a draft at the moment. You may notice mistakes. I will get to fixing them soon.
Sometimes when we remove color, we see the simplicity and power of nature. Color can easily be a metaphor for other things in your life such as unnecessary drama or stress. Look beyond the colors in your life and look to the simple things in your life that give you happiness and strength. - Kelly Shipp

St Botolphs church at Botolphs Annington near Steyning in Sussex.
Out on a wet and windy day I was once again drawn back to this lovely old Saxon church, sadly it was not open but there was a sign on the door saying the church is at risk, it did not say if it was at risk of falling down or of closure, I hope neither
This is a four shot focus stack taken from my mini tripod, the head stones are leaning all over the place but I believe the church is on the vertical..Shooting upwards and at a wide angle will accentuate the lean but the church is correct, I believe.
Really enjoyed these trees along the Gunpowder River that hang out over the water. I'm iffy on this comp but think it works as I wanted one of the trees up close and then the others far off leading towards the sunrise colors. The WB really warmed up nice as the rising sun painted the clouds over our heads.
