This is the final design of the leaflet for the recital of the junior dance school.
I produced this in the half volunteer, because my daughter goes to the school.
娘が通っている、ダンス教室 発表会のリーフレットを制作しました。
The leaflets arrived at last! I can't put alongside the originals because I handed that in with my submitted work this week. But they look great, despite a couple of errors - I was too hasty to get them to the printers. I also bought this leaflet box off Ebay which can be fastened to the diplay board. Everything is well and truly coming together now.
To start with I should say my own grammar and spelling is usually awful, (but not this bad) but to see this on a published advertisement is just silly. I did the red pen markings while perhaps a wee bit tipsy, just before leaving and going to the disco, where I had a very good night despite the terrible spelling by their marketing people.
Are there any more I didn't spot?

I designed the leaflet and incorporated a number of my photos taken within the school.
The leaflet was published and became part of the succesful campaign to gain Science College status for the school.

Submissions regarding the EIS for the Rocky Hill Coal Mine close on 28th October 2013 - Have your say HERE
The EIS comes in 5 volumes and weighs 9 kilograms. Specialists and consultants have spent many months compiling this information - thousands of pages of often complex, scientific information.
To see how the approval process in these applications is tipped in favour of the mining companies and big business one only has to see the length of time allocated to local communities to prepare a response to the EIS. One month is all that is allowed normally to respond to a massive volume of technical information that has taken the company many many months to put together.
In the case of the Rocky Hill EIS an extension allowing 2 months, not one, has been granted perhaps a sign the NSW O'Farrell government can see some political fallout ahead.
In a further demonstration of how the goal posts are shifting away from citizen opposition groups and in favour of mining companies the NSW O'Farrell Government is considering changes to a SEPP which, when it comes to mine approvals, would position mine economics over and above all other considerations.
The NSW Government are clearly hedging their bets in case their appeal is lost in the Supreme Court against the recent refusal in the NSW Land and Environment Court to approve Rio Tinto's Hunter Valley Bulga Mine proposal.
In that eventuality, the law will be changed so that, Rio Tinto can potentially just re-submit their application for their mine at Bulga and it will likely be approved.
This new development has potential to have ramifications for the Rocky Hill Mine as far as any Land and environment Court challenge that the people of Gloucester might mount in future should the Gloucester Resources Ltd mine application be approved.
