A charming multi-fold colour publicity leaflet issued by the Great Northern Railway (Ireland) and advertising their new "Enterprise Express". Undated, the fact it is described as "new", gives a journey time of 2hr 14min and notes the Customs examinations before departures makes it highly likely the leaflet was issued for the launch of the new Dublin - Belfast express service in 1947. Certainly the fashions and hair styles are of the period. The leaflet folds out in four panels creating a marvellous panorama of the Express; the other side gives details as to the "quiet comfort" of the new Expresses, travelling in "bbright surroundings" whilst having "perhaps a cocktail" and with a "meal to follow". Cocktails on either side of the Border seem a bit louche to me for post-War, or post-Emergency, Ireland.

Introduced on 11 August 1947, using the GNR's most modern coaching stock and usually hauled by one of the railway's Class V (later Class VS) locomotives, there was initially one journey a day; this being a 1030 departure from Belfast and a return trip leaving Dublin at 1730. In May 1948 two more journeys a day, an 0930 from Dublin and a 1715 return from Belfast was introduced. The service became jointly operated between CIÉ and the UTA upon dissolution of the GNR Board by both jurisdictions in 1958 and by which time new DMUs had been introduced. The Enterprise still runs today, now operated jointly by NIR and IR, on an hourly frequency.

five different brochures in 2-4 editions from 1984-1995.

All leaflets refer to the other four leaflets on the last page, but the 1995 "facts and figures" one (last one in the first row) mentions a leaflet called "LEGO products and the enviroment" instead of the "the LEGO prize" (with the Ygdrasil tree) one.

A leaflet I have just bought on eBay, which is in very poor condition, but only 99p against £13.00 for the other one that was listed. I only wanted it for some info on the Le Car R5, an example of which I stumbled across recently.

The leaflets arrived at last! I can't put alongside the originals because I handed that in with my submitted work this week. But they look great, despite a couple of errors - I was too hasty to get them to the printers. I also bought this leaflet box off Ebay which can be fastened to the diplay board. Everything is well and truly coming together now.

The first line of yellow leaflets from Europe. Great to see all differences in sytem-text and local language.

I'm missing Italy (Sistema net Gioco) and Switserland (...). Does anybody have 'm for sale or trade?

And are there more in this series of 1958? Are there more than 7 different countries?

Two (out of eight) panels of a 4x1 style horizontal foldout leaflet - the right panel in the image above appears to be the cover panel, very similar to the 3150-xx leaflets from 1966.

"mø" is still a mystery to me - "Mellemøsten" (= Middle East, see da.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mellem%C3%B8sten) doesn't fit since the catalog was handed out in Casablanca, Morocco (= part of Maghreb, far from the Middle East region) - and the country name Morocco has no connection to "mø" in the Danish language, afaik.

As the languages of this leaflet are English and French, it could have been used for MANY countries - almost every African country has one of these two languages as more or less official language due to their history of colonisation.

Horse-chestnut (Aesculus hippocastanum) has a compound palmately divided leaf. This leaf measures about 20 x 20 cm but they may reach 40 x 40 cm. The image shows the palmate compound leaf of Horse-chestnut (Aesculus hippocastanum), a dicotyledonous plant. The main veins are arranged in a palmate pattern, and the leaf blade is deeply divided between the veins, forming separate leaflets.

Each leaflet has regularly toothed margins. The main veins branch into side veins arranged in a pinnate pattern.

By this stage the axillary bud has opened, but its position at the base of leaf stalk (petiole) is marked by the presence of bud scales.

Really, apart from the aforementioned stall, this was the only hype the show had.
