檢查站上的年輕軍人、守護聲音的老人、攜帶炸彈的父親、失語的記者……
邊境族在任何一個國家裡，又不在任何一幅地圖上。
邊境族是每一個被逼害的民族，每一把消逝中的聲音。
他們一直都在，而總不被聽見。
「我們是虛構的 我們是真實的
我們不僅在外地流亡 更在自己的家園流亡」
--這是一個不存在的族群，如河流般的千年故事。
「邊境族」不是某一個特定的民族，而是所有家園被侵佔、身份被剝奪、文化被斷絕的人們；不是「他者」，更是「我們」。如果戰爭是權力與暴力交合的極端形式，那麼，權力到底是甚麼？暴力的根源在哪裡？小息跨媒介創作室在古蹟建築牛棚藝術村裡，以聲像裝置、現場音樂、形體舞蹈及戲劇探討戰爭、暴力與權力，詰問人性與自由。請準備耳朵與心靈，踏進邊境，傾聽被噤絕的聲音。
