I was doing homework when I saw this stunning scene out of the corner of my eye. The light was streaming through the trees and hitting the leaf perfectly. I just had to run off and get my camera and capture this shot. Any excuse not to do homework :)

There aren't any drops on this leaf, it doesn't have different colors or some original shape and it doesn't have any story behind it,,,but I just love this leaf and this shot,,,one of my faves ...

Maui leaf abstract in Spring 2024

Dew on a fallen leaf in Kew Gardens. Note the small leafhopper near bottom centre of the leaf.

This was taken over a year ago, and I don't remember where, or what kind of leaf it was, but the veins are striking.
