did a little backyard safari this afternoon and noticed this leaf that looks more like it's ready for fall than summer.

My day off and torrential rain but I did pick up this leaf on Ella's walk

This was the last remaining 'green' leaf. I must say, when looking at the image more closely, how intricate the workings of a leaf are.

my roommate Frank & I did some experiemting putting stuff on my light table.

this was one of my results. Here's one of Frank's.

that smudge in the top right is some melted wax from when I placed a candle on the table. Couldn't clean it off but Frank says it adds character to the image. maybe he's right?
