Bryan was just behind the lead runners by a few seconds. The lead runners was unfortunate to encounter a van on the course that didn't know what was happening other than a cop yelling at him to get out of the way...Instead of actually doing what he was told, the driver stopped the van until the cop yelled at him some more to 'move'... eventually the driver peeled off before he forced the lead runners off course.

Marlacoo lead drummer Frank Gibson, and my Dad :) He has competed in Pipe Band competitions for over 30 years now, winning All Ireland solo's multiple times and Ulster solo's multiple times too. He has played with many leading Grade 1 bands, but now he teaches and plays for Marlacoo in Grade 4a.
