This is a poster I designed for my girlfriend's final thesis in coorporate communication.
Its just a layout and nothing more.
Everything on these posters are fictional, and should not be taken seriously :-)

The top text reads more or less : Help invent the next great vaccine.
Become a biomedical laboratory technician.
1st layout is a traditional multicolumn grid. First page will be a quote + portrait, and second page will highlight his artwork. Planning to incorporate lots of negative space with this layout inspired by Shigeo's minimalistic and functional style.
2nd layout is somewhat experimental. I'm thinking of approaching this as a collage so it'll be more busy and engaging. Hierarchy might be a challenge. 2nd page will have typography elements. Both layouts will feature more artwork than text

Dit jaar weer naar Rail geweest. De modelbanen leken nu meer verdeeld over de hallen en zo ontstond er meer afwisseling tussen de modelbanen en verkoopkraampjes. Om eerlijk te zijn vond ik Rail dit jaar iets tegenvallen. Veel banen zijn al bij eerdere edities te zien geweest, er zaten schitterende banen tussen, maar niet alles kon mij bekoren. En ook het aantal banen leek minder dan voorgaande jaren. Toch ben ik samen met mijn vader zeven uur onder de pannen geweest. Veel gezien, gesnuffeld en gefotografeerd.
This year I went to Rail again. The layouts seemed to be more divided over the three halls. This resulted in a bigger variation between layouts and sales stalls. To be honest I, found Rail a bit disappointing this year. Many layouts have been shown in previous editions, there were beautiful layouts, but not everything appealed to me. And also the number of layouts seemed less than previous years. Still, I spend seven hours with my father at Rail. Seen a lot, photographed a lot and spend some time trying to find models for my N-gauge layout.
//como ainda não temos um nome pra empresa, fui criando uma identidade visual pro site, e a marca vai seguir o mesmo estilo depois. Layout simples e funcional; o necessário diria. Claro que precisa de ajustes e detalhamento, fora desenvolver o texto e o resto da estrutura do site; mas é pro cliente ter uma idéia somente :)
