Did some more work today on the Zelda overworld layout. You can see grass starting to expand along the fresh dirt, including some land-bridge stuff I've built between what will eventually be trimmed down to appropriately isolated bits of "rock".
Trying to use the funky current water physics of the Minecraft engine to fill in that large wet area has been a challenge; I'll have to do some serious bucket work to get the water nice and flat the way it should be, but I managed to get at least some basic wetness in there to define the space at a glance.
This is still nly a small fraction of the total work needing done, but it's nice to get a decent chunk put
