Testing a layout for a Kitchen Window quilt I'm making for my cousin. Each block has a bit of Paris map fabric in it to commemorate her trip to France this summer and her graduation with a degree in French this year.

A layout about my mixed feelings about my puppy growing up... perhaps not the best thing to worry about, but he was a big consolation to me as a puppy when I was going through some difficult times, so it's a bit hard to let go! Made a little easier, though, by the few-hundred-dollar vet bill he is in the process of racking up tonight and tomorrow... seems he has grass seeds in both ears, and won't let the vet remove them without sedation. *sigh*
Sorry for the blurriness in this picture.
The basic idea for this area is to create a downtown two-story building area. The only thing that has changed in this layout is the fact that the far curve no longer is in place and has been replaced with T-Juction with a street coming off of it.
Carrying on from last year's LEGO-themed February, I thought I do something similar for this month. This month, however, will focus on me completely redoing my LEGO City from scratch or purchases that I've made for it. Plans include for a downtown area with two-story buildings, a complete loop of railroad track (with some sidings to suggest it continuing), and some sidewalks. I hope you guys will enjoy seeing the progress as I upload it!
I'll be uploading one-three pictures EVERYDAY in February (unless circumstances do not allow for it, in which case a pic or two will be uploaded the day before or a day late) of the progress I made to its eventual completed state. As of this writing, it is not complete though, so don't be surprised to see more pictures of it beyond February.

The weird keyboard layout of my new MSI Wind bought in a local Staples, here in Toronto. Note the half-size left shift key. Here's a pic of a "normal" version: www.notebookreview.com/picture.asp?f=34741
UPDATE: This seems to be unique to units sold at Staples.
A gaily decorated hop on hop off tour bus in Chandigarh. We had seen a similar one in Amritsar a couple of days prior but this one had a totally different vibe to it, probably due to the decorations and the overall uber neat layout of Chandigarh itself. The city's orderly grid system appears almost unbelievable in a country whose urban centres are synonymous with chaos. Yes, tell me about it- I have just come from Amritsar- it was a very interesting town no doubt, but unbelievably chaotic in places. In total contrast, wide boulevards connect all thirty six sectors of Chandigarh city (yes, each district is called a 'sector' here), each sector more or less self sufficient with shops, schools and entertainment venues. Adding to the beauty are the neat grid like layout of streets, interspersed with much greenery, public parks and gardens. It was a joy to visit Chandigarh! (Chandigarh, north India, Nov. 2017)

About 6 years ago I made up a weird keyboard layout for myself. I’d developed a severe case of RSI in my wrists, and having gone through several types of ergonomic keyboards that didn’t cut it, I took the plunge and got a $350 Kinesis. Once it arrived it took me about 5 seconds to realize that the learning curve on that thing was so steep I might as well switch to the Dvorak layout since that had a reputation for being much faster and easier to type on than the usual QWERTY. But, after about 3 or 4 days of using Dvorak I discovered it still wasn’t particularly comfortable.
Numerically the last in a batch of ten delivered to Brighton Hove & District, built with a 35 seat dual
door layout. The order specified the 120bhp Gardner 6HLW engine, but they apparently coped
with the hill's in the area. Date and photographer not known.
