Early morning launch of the DAWN asteroid exploration mission. Launch vehicle was a Delta-II Heavy. Taken from the street in front of my house in Miami, approximately 185 miles south of Cape Canaveral.
Lighting was great for this launch. The light from the sunrise gave the exhaust trail an orange glow that really pops it out from the clear morning sky.

The private launch party of Moldova Wine in China. They Red (not rose) but Red Champagne is excellent. I also recommend going to the Teppenyaki restaurant where it was held. Yaki Yaki on Hongiao Lu. Great food. Japan level of food!!! Seriously worth the taxi fare!!!
