The Wenonah, Nelson, 1907
Charles W. Busk was a Civil engineer and Surveyor, with a dream for Balfour to be a great city. Busk was also fond of boat launches and engines. The Wenonah was 43 feet in length, considerably larger than Captain Busk's predecessor - the Flirt. The Wenonah was said to be able to reach 16 miles per hour, under a full head of steam.
Clocked two launch speeds on the rocket's velocimeter: 32.6 mph and 65.5 mph. Guess which one got away from us? Recovered the nose cone and velocimeter. The rocket's body, however, is lost forever

Here are several behavior shots that I find very interesting......If they do not get startled - Golden Eagles always will lighten their load before lift off. If they have time I guess they will scratch that itch also! Wildlife ~ So fun to watch! From the Pinedale, Wyoming area. This area is about 2 hours south of Yellowstone Nat'l Park with a population of ~1500 and elevation of about 7175'.
