My latest lamp is made from CNC’d plywood. CNC is kind of amazing, so much potential. When you spin the outside of the lamp you can dim or brighten the light. There are two polarized lens inside that make this possible, and it’s kind of fun to play with.

That's it really. I love lamps. And so I collect photos of them. In a mildly disinterested way of course.

Okay, I did dig the UFO-style lamp.

In the grounds of Liden church

The round white object is actually my cool IKEA lamp. It has a semi-functional blacklight in it. Witness the glare on my monitor once again! The tree in this picture has since moved in a futile effort to block the glare.

This was a series I did with my lovelies. They were sweet enough to let me preform the illusion of nudity for these photographs because let's be real, we really aren't friends.

 

just kidding i love them. crystal is the tree bones girl, and karina and kaylene are the two who look like sisters. not. but thank you so much girls! this was an assignment using low lighting, and for a lot of these we used either this one old lamp or a flashlight. the occasional candle as well. more to come, hopefully
