My most recent find at the local Goodwill: a vintage Martz lamp. I had originally passed it up after thinking that I just didn't need one more lamp. I also didn't have my iPhone with me, so I couldn't do a quick Google search for the mark. Thankfully, it was still there the next day and I snatched it up. Now to find a more appropriate shade for it.

This lamp was made with an assemblage of a bike rack, a metal shoe-tree, and a glass electrical insulator.

Above lamp is a combination of recycled wooden window brackets with reclaimed Bruce wood flooring for the inserts. I call it the "Jenga-like" lamp because when I first was trying to figure out how to make the lamp, I saw the Jenga game in our closet. Once I saw this, the Jenga lamp was born!

Purchased more than 20 years ago from Camberwell Market is my recollection, but has languished in a box perhaps for the last 20 years in my garage. In working order, but I had the electricals replaced for safety, which resulted in a nice black cord. I love her, and although 50s/60s vintage, she goes very well with my 1930s lounge.
in school we had a project where we had to visit a charity and make a speech about it, so i choose sheena's place.
sheena's place is a wonderful charity dedicated to restoring balance and recovery to people who suffer from eating disorders.
quickly snapped this while i was in their library, waiting to meet with their manager. great visit, i would definitely recommend this charity.
