Hans pays a surprise visit to Anna and Elsa. It looks as though he going to make another attempt at a coup d'etat. The Frozen sisters were about to begin a sleigh ride with Kristoff and Olaf, with Sven pulling.

Classic Elsa (from the D23 Frozen Doll Set) joins Classic Anna and Kristoff in the sleigh. Olaf remains sitting atop Sven. Elsa and Anna fit much better in the front bench than Kristoff and Anna. Kristoff sits in the back of the sleigh. But since there isn't any seat there, he is actually sitting on the floor of the sleigh. So Kristoff decides it would be more comfortable to stand up, and also so he can have a better view out of the sleigh. Then Olaf decides to sit with the sisters, in the front of the sleigh. Now they are all ready for some adventuring. Until Classic Hans shows up brandishing Fairytale Designer Snow White's Prince's sword.

Okay, it's a horrible phone pic, but if I don't post now, it'll be a long time. Besides, what's more exciting than getting a doll delivered to your work?

Elsa and Anna are so adorable

Kristoff takes the pumpkins and flowers from the girls and offers to carry them to their car.

Anna and Elsa's Royal Welcome, Disney's Hollywood Studios

Another beautifully packaged sample pack from Kristoff. Smoked one tonight. Wonderful from start to finish.

Colleen says this is her favorite of the four photos of this Frozen Deluxe Fashion Gift Set. I don't think it has much to do with the outfits, more so the scene. I agree with her that the front of the Mattel Frozen Castle & Ice Palace looks amazing with the dolls. I never watched Frozen II (at least not now as I'm typing this), so I'm not entirely sure what these outfits represent. I'm guessing some sort of formal occasion? Kristoff is wearing the same signature look that appeared in the previous photo. As I said before, the poor dude only got two fashions instead of the four the girls were equipped with. But that could just be that he wore the same look throughout the entire movie? This is my favorite look for Elsa in this pack. I like that it has more of a purple hue to it than the icy blue we've all come to expect from her. The way Colleen fanned her dress out and place her "magic" in her hand works wonderfully for this photo. The dolls were also saturated enough in color for me to execute a photo that required little editing (sometimes I need to saturate the colors more for them to stand out, but I like to keep it minimal so the photo represents the truest form of the dolls). Although the playset in the background is made by Mattel, you wouldn't know that the dolls are from an entirely different manufacturer. Mattel nailed the vibe of Frozen with this old playset, but the Disney Store dominated the dollies. You can also tell that the doorway is the appropriate size. Kristoff could walk in even on his handmade stand that brings him up a half inch or so! Anna most surprised me in this photo. I wasn't sure how this light tan would work with her red hair and freckles. But wow, she's breathtaking!

I was quite excited to get coronation outfits with this set. Granted, I did have a Mattel version of Anna's (from the Anna/Kristoff 2 pack I rescued at the Salvation Army). The Disney Store one is similar but you can definitely spot the differences. For instance, it's a little more muted in color, and isn't caked with glitter. I like both gowns, just for different reasons. I also think that Anna's hairstyle looks wonderful with this dress. She has such a sweet innocent vibe about her...definitely fitting considering she is the younger sister. If only this pack had Hans...then she'd be ready to get engaged after just a few hours of knowing him! It's quite funny considering the first time my sister and I watched Frozen, we didn't think anything of Anna and Hans wanting to get married right away. I mean, this IS Disney. Cinderella and Prince Charming quite literally only danced with one another before their happily ever after. And Prince Phillip and Aurora? They just sang a song together, but didn't even speak for the last twenty minutes of the movie! According to Disney's own standards, it was totally reasonable for Anna and Hans to get engaged so soon, especially considering they did bond of conversation. That's why I wasn't aware of Hans's nefarious intentions...I'm usually quite astute at figuring out the plot of movies ahead of time because I watch them so often. Anyways, instead Anna has Kristoff as her date to the coronation. He is wearing his signature Frozen look here once again, since he only came with two outfits. I love that Elsa's ensemble came equipped with a cape. The fact that she's more covered and is wearing a rigid, structured ensemble fits her icy personality. Anna's more colorful, playful gown suits her quirkiness. It was also fun seeing the inside of my Mattel Castle & Ice Palace playset in this photo. Sadly, it's missing all it's furniture, but it still makes for a more detailed scene!

Deboxing LE Kristoff. First the front lid is removed, revealing the clear plastic lid underneath. It has a label and minimal decoration on the border similar to that of the outer lid, all printed in white. Then the plastic lid and rear cardboard cover are removed. The remaining cardboard backing is free standing, and has a scene of the frozen Arendelle forming the background behind the doll.

Kristoff in his summer outfit, as seen at the end of the Frozen animated feature film. Included is his mandolin, leather satchel and ice man medallion. He also has faux leather boots with fur trim, a welcome change from the usual molded plastic boots on male Disney Store dolls. He is #1627 of 3500, $119.95.

I got a bunch of newly released Frozen merchandise from the Disney Store today (March 2, 2015). They are the LE 17'' Anna, Elsa and Kristoff dolls, and the Frozen Tsum Tsum. I also picked up the pre-ordered NeverBeast movie. I will show the dolls boxed, during deboxing, and fully deboxed.

Boxed and deboxed Anna, Elsa and Kristoff 17'' Limited Edition dolls, all released on March 3-4, 2015. In this case the two sets of dolls look pretty much identical, since there are no parts of their outfit that are really restricted or hidden in the packaging. However, the deboxed dolls are in more relaxed poses.

I got my spare Limited Edition Frozen Dolls today in mail, on Monday March 16, 2015. I will leave them boxed, except for briefly opening them to take photos and to inspect the dolls and their Certificates of Authenticity. The ones that I got at my local Disney Store on release day, Tuesday March 3, I have already fully deboxed. My spare LE Kristoff has a Cart # of 00040, which means he is #40 of 3500! It is the lowest edition number of any of my LE 17'' dolls, except for the LE 100 Harrods dolls (which are numbered #39 for the Frozen and #32 for the Sleeping Beauty sets).

I've now taken my spare LE Frozen dolls out of the shipping cartons. I show them with their boxes closed, then opened up, and finally side by side with the corresponding deboxed dolls. The spare Anna has almost perfect hair, as opposed to my frizzy haired deboxed Anna. My spare Elsa has a slight crease in the front lid, right in the center of the top edge. She has hair that is not as even or natural looking as my deboxed Elsa. I think the boxed Elsa shows her outfit to better advantage, as the skirt is tacked to be wider than its natural circular, narrower form when it is freed from the packaging. Finally my spare Kristoff has uneven hair on the left side (his right), whereas my Kristoff has much better looking hair. Also, he looks much better outside of the cramped quarters of the box, where the top of his head is almost touching the top of the box, and when the front lid is on, the top of head is cut off from view.

For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration, Disney's Hollywood Studios

My Kristoff doll has been fully deboxed, and is posed free standing.

He has the usual Disney Store Prince body, with a pivot jointed neck, ball jointed shoulders, hinge jointed elbows, ball jointed hips, and internal hinge jointed knees. He has large hands and feet. He stands 12 1/4'' tall in his boots, from the floor to the top of his molded hair. He is fairly stable free standing.

He has a long face, with molded short dirty blonde hair. He has large light brown eyes, glancing to his right, dark brown eyebrows, large blunt nose, wide non-smiling closed mouth with very thin pink lips. He has a very long chin, and brown freckles on his cheeks and nose. He has a light complexion.

His outfit consists of jacket and shirt combo, pants, gloves, hat and boots. The jacket is made of dark gray faux suede with fur trim, and dark red satin sash. It is padded in the front to make him look more husky. His blue long sleeved fleece shirt is sewn to his jacket. He has blue fleece pants. His dark gray rubber boots are mid-calf high and have curved pointed toes. His gloves are gray leather with fur trim, and are tied to his hands with strings. Finally he has a fleece cap with a flat top.

Kristoff is a very accurate representation of the movie character, with well fitted clothes. As with all Disney male dolls, his body could be more fully articulated.

The dolls of the Frozen Mini Doll Set are fully deboxed. Hans, Elsa, Anna and Kristoff are posed standing, propped up against a wall.

Deboxing the Frozen Mini Doll Set. First the top lid is unsealed and opened. Then the cardboard backing tray containing the dolls is slid out of the box. The dolls are attached to the spacers and backing by wires, rubber bands and plastic T-tabs. Next the dolls are removed from the backing. The girls are more complicated to debox, as their heads are attached to the spacers. So they are placed face down on a counter to continue the deboxing. After they are removed from the spacers, there are still wires around their waists, tissue paper around their legs, and Elsa has tiny plastic posts sticking out the back of her head. Finally the remaining packaging restraints are removed from Elsa and Anna, their dresses are closed up, and they are now fully deboxed. Then Hans and Kristoff join the girls, in the same positions that they were in the box.

First look at the Frozen Mini Doll Set, which I purchased in store on its release day, October 28, 2013. They consist of 4 figures from Frozen, Hans, Elsa, Anna and Kristoff. The girls are 5.5'' high, the boys are 6'' high. Elsa and Anna are wearing simplified versions of their coronation gowns, and their hair is styled in updos. They will be photographed boxed, during deboxing, and fully deboxed. I will also pose them other with comparable dolls.

Frozen Pin Trading Starter Set. Open Edition, $32.95. Opened package. Contents consists of lanyard with four pins (Anna, Elsa, Olaf and Sven, Kristoff) and plastic card.

I visited Disneyland today, Sunday, June 29, 2014. First I went to World of Disney. They were sold out of the new Frozen pin starter sets. However, I did get a new Tinker Bell key chain, the Ralph and Vanellope OE pin and the July 4th Tinker Bell LE pin from WoD. Then I went to Disneyland Park, and was told in 20th Century Music that Westward Ho in Frontierland had some of the Frozen starter sets. And sure enough they plenty in stock. A good pin buying day at DLR.
