Now I know this is probably WAAAAAAYYY too early but this is my list of who I don't think going to be in Super Smash Bros for Wii U and 3DS, but who I think would be kinda cool to play as in the next Smash Bros (If there is one [which there is no doubt there will be]).
Now starting off my list is Baby Mario & Baby Luigi representing the Yoshi series. I think this would be a good edition to the roster because I feel like the Yoshi series needs more characters and I think these two would fit in well. They could have moves from Mario and Luigi Partners in Time and their final smash could be the Chain Chop from Mario Kart Double Dash.
My next character is Prince Fluff from Kirby's Epic Yarn. I think he would fit in well because he would have a unique move set and he's a Kirby character and Sakurai just loves adding in characters from his own franchises.
The next one would kind of be the Wii Fit Trainer/R.O.B of this game and that would be Cooking Mama. This was probably the only one I'm a little iffy on because it would be cool to have her in, but I don't know what her moveset would be like.
Next up is Dixie Kong from the Donkey Kong franchise. I put her in because I think the Donkey Kong franchise needs just one more representitive and I think Dixie would fit in well, and it's never a bad thing to add in some more females!
Next up is probably the most asked-for character in Super Smash Bros. history and that is none other than Ridley from the Metroid franchise. Now I'm not a HUGE supporter of Ridley like most people on the internet but I do think it would be cool to play as him in the game. Like I've seen some cool art of him like a little taller than Bowser standing next to some other characters and I think he'd fit in well. Plus Smash does need some more villains. But I wouldn't be sad at all if he wasn't in the game.
The next character is an IFF (if and only if) character being King Hippo from the Punch-Out franchise. The reason why he is an IFF character is he would come if and only if Little Mac is received well by all the Smash players (which is looking to be the situation). And like Ridley, it would be nice to have some more villians.
The next character is Waluigi from the Wario/Mario franchise. It would finally feel complete to have him and Wario in the game. His move set could be like a Pac-Man whereas he'd reference all the Mario Kart/Party/Sports games in his moves. Wouldn't be cool if he had a side special like Wario where'd instead of a Motorcycle, he'd have his kart? I think it would be cool.
Now in Super Smash Bros for Wii U and 3DS is coming out this year with Mario, Sonic, Megaman, and Pac-Man. Now how do you top that?! Well, With Bomberman! Bomberman would fit in well with his bomb like moves and he even has the look of a nintendo character!
This is my wish list for characters that won't appear in this Smash Bros, but would be cool to see in the next? What characters would you guys like to see in a Smash Bros game?
P.S. Something BIG that you all have been waiting for is coming... ;D

The Golden Ratio informs a lot of my art and photographic composition. The Golden Ratio also informs the design of the golden revolver on all the swimsuits and lingerie, as well as the 45surf logo! Not so long ago, I came up with the Golden Ratio Principle which describes why The Golden Ratio is so beautiful.
The Golden Number Ratio Principle: Dr. E’s Golden Ratio Principle: The golden ratio exalts beauty because the number is a characteristic of the mathematically and physically most efficient manners of growth and distribution, on both evolutionary and purely physical levels. The golden ratio ensures that the proportions and structure of that which came before provide the proportions and structure of that which comes after. Robust, ordered growth is naturally associated with health and beauty, and thus we evolved to perceive the golden ratio harmonies as inherently beautiful, as we saw and felt their presence in all vital growth and life—in the salient features and proportions of humans and nature alike, from the distribution of our facial features and bones to the arrangements of petals, leaves, and sunflowers seeds. As ratios between Fibonacci Numbers offer the closest whole-number approximations to the golden ratio, and as seeds, cells, leaves, bones, and other physical entities appear in whole numbers, the Fibonacci Numbers oft appear in nature’s elements as “growth’s numbers.” From the dawn of time, humanity sought to salute their gods in art and temples exalting the same proportion by which all their vital sustenance and they themselves had been created—the golden ratio.

Introduction
Footsteps of the Holy Spirit | God's Word "Only Those Who Know God and His Work Can Satisfy God"
Almighty God says, "Knowing the work of God is no simple matter: You should have standards and an objective in your pursuit, you should know how to seek the true way, and how to measure whether or not it is the true way, and whether or not it is the work of God. What is the most basic principle in seeking the true way? You have to look at whether or not there is the work of the Holy Spirit, whether or not these words are the expression of the truth, who is testified to, and what it can bring you. Distinguishing between the true way and the false way requires several aspects of basic knowledge, the most fundamental of which is to tell whether or not there is the work of the Holy Spirit."
Eastern Lightning, The Church of Almighty God was created because of the appearance and work of Almighty God, the second coming of the Lord Jesus, Christ of the last days. It is made up of all those who accept Almighty God's work in the last days and are conquered and saved by His words. It was entirely founded by Almighty God personally and is led by Him as the Shepherd. It was definitely not created by a person. Christ is the truth, the way, and the life. God's sheep hear God's voice. As long as you read the words of Almighty God, you will see God has appeared.
I know you think this is one of Mark's #crazydrawings, but no, it is a bunch of dead bugs on flypaper in a small paper factory near #Tengchong, in #Yunnan. Another case of #nature imitating #art.

“Sir! She’s sprung a leak!” The first mate dashed into the pirate Captain’s cabin, flushed and out of breath.
The Captain raised a scowling face. “Man the pumps then! You know what to do!”
“This is no ordinary leak, sir. She’s going fast!”
“Whad’ya mean, she’s goin’?” The Captain followed the words with a string of curses and then nearly bowled his mate over as he rushed topside. “All hands on deck! Man the pumps! Full force!” The next instant he was down in the hull with the mate beside him, pointing out the leak. The Captain’s face twisted in rage. “Who did that? That’s no leak. We’ve been scuttled! Who had the last watch?”
The mate shifted uneasily. Water poured in, soaking both men’s boots, but neither seemed to notice. At last he muttered, “Billy was at the tiller.”
“Billy?! That good for nothin’… Lazy – I’ll make him pay! Probably did it a purpose – wants us all ta drown!”
The mate was about to reply, but instead he ejaculated, “Good heavens! We’re sinking!” The words ended in a kind of scream. For the water was now rushing furiously in, threatening to sweep both off their feet.
“Shut your mouth!” the Captain spat, climbing topside again and ignoring his dripping garments.
At that moment the ship tilted violently, sending both men along with several other pirates into the scuttles. Billy fell too, slamming into the Captain.
“You! – You did this!” The Captain grabbed the unfortunate cabin boy by the neck.
Billy shuddered, turning terrified eyes to the Captain’s ferocious look.
“Well?! Answer me!”
With sudden boldness the boy spoke up. “I did do it.”
“Treason! Mutiny! You’ll pay for this!”
“Of course he will,” the mate grumbled. “We’re all goin’ to the bottom!”
“I’ll make sure Billy gets there first!” the Captain exclaimed, uttering a fearful oath.
Another lurch of the ship freed Billy from the Captain’s grasp for a second and he scrambled to his feet, desperately climbing toward the prow which was now pointing to the sky.
Cries and shouts resounded through the ship, which had now begun to sink in earnest. And yet for all their desperate plight, the pirates only quarreled and fought with each other, all eager to prolong their miserable lives by as many minutes as they could, even if it meant sending another to his death. The more reckless dove into the rum supply, determined to drown in drink for the last few minutes before they really drowned. Slowly the ship sank lower and lower, and now many of the pirates, forced to realize their plight, screamed in terror. Those who had sent so many to their deaths were unwilling to go themselves.
Above deck the Captain pulled himself aft by main force, practically tearing the boards, almost foaming at the mouth in his impotent rage. Billy clung to the bowsprit, unsure whether to face the Captain’s fury or spring overboard at once. He shuddered as he looked down into the water, and, opening his clasp knife, resolved to defend himself.
Ropes and bits of iron slid down the decks along with other miscellany. The Captain lost his hold – caught it again – and in desperation, pulled out his pistol.
Billy shuddered and tried to shrink into as small a target as possible.
The next instant a heavy sack smashed into the Captain’s legs and with a terrible cry he crashed headlong into the churning water.
And now the ship had almost completely sunk, and Billy was left alone. A sudden silence – an eerie silence – succeeded the fearful shouts. Billy climbed farther up the bowsprit until he was perched as high atop it as possible.
He had done it, and he thought his own life was a small price to pay for the blessing of ridding the sea of such a scourge. But other thoughts came to him in those moments that seemed like a life time as he straddled the rough timber, knife still in hand. After all, the quick, almost painless death to which he had sent his comrades seemed a poor repayment for their actions. They would have died, eventually, anyways – he had only hastened it by a year or two – and was that all? For all their villainy, for all their injustice, for having taken him, still a little child, and made him virtually their slave, dragging him through unspeakable horror? …hate surged through him, and he half cursed himself for taking such a poor and flavorless vengeance.
Then he thought of the deeds he himself had taken pleasure in doing, and loathed himself as heartily as any of his companions.
Was this all life had? Was there no real justice? The thought was intolerable to him. Far better to stand condemned, as he knew he would be, then to think that in the end, wrong would win.
But perhaps… perhaps… could mercy be found? Even for him?
The still, silent waters closed over the pirate ship, leaving no trace.
On cold, cloudy, windy days, its easy to think Spring is weeks, if not months away. But for those of us who know what and where to look, signs of Spring are all around. On day day of some churchcrawling I would see carpets of snowdrops, winter aconites among others, and trees, shrubs with buds ready to burst forth with new leaves. Birds are more vocal, and with other matters on their minds.
The start of the orchid season might be just six weeks away, last year the first Kentish orchid was seen in flower on March 19th, who knows what this season will bring, but in the woods and up on the downs, orchids are stirring, waking up, creating rosettes, and some thinking about putting forth spikes.
Its all about to happen.
So, I asked the two mods from the orchid group if they would like to meet up with a chat, and discuss trips for the new season. Last year we met near Ian's house on the banks of the Medway, this year it was near to Terry's, near Gravesend in Cobham. I chose Cobham as I wanted to revisit the church, the the local pub, one of the local puns, The Leather Bottle is opposite the church.
So that was the plan.
Jools wasn't going to come, as she wanted to work in the garden, so once the shopping was done and we had eaten breakfast, I would be off.
esco has empty shelves; washing up liquid seems to still be an issue, and there was a huge gap in the fresh meat section. Of course, it might be nothing.
Back home for breakfast and then time to go out. Of course I could have stayed and watched Norwich on the tellybox against Arsenal, but 90 minutes of shouting at the TV didn't sound like a good idea, so churches and a pub lunch it was! Norwich were playing top of the table, Burnley, and despite winning the last two games having scored 8 goals, lets just says I wasn't confident. Which was well placed, as Norwich defended like, well, Norwich, gifting Burnley two goals.
But of this I was unaware. For now.
An easy drive up the M20 to Maidstone, turning off at the services, but doubling back under the motorway into Hollingbourne. We had tried to get here before Christmas, but the only road through the villages was closed. In two places! Which the church in the middle. But back now, with no issues other than the 21st century traffic trying to get through the 17th century streets.
The church sits beside a small green, with a row of cottages to one side, I could see from the car the door of the porch open, so good news. I grabbed my camera and made my way through the lych gate and into the church, which I had to myself.
On the way to Cobham, I went via the M20 so I could call in at Hollingbourne to revisit the church, now that the roadworks seemed to be over.
I had the church to myself, which is always good.
All Saints is really the Cullpeper's mausoleum, it is fill with memorials and tombs to generations of them.
Until the line died out.
I can't remember why I didn't finish photographing it last time, but I knew I had to go back with the big lens, so did today, recording mostly the glass, but found much more too.
I snapped all the glass, some of which was very good, but others, not so.
And so onto the short drive up the A229 to the M2, across the Medway then up to Cobham, across the fields to the village, parking outside the village hall and once collecting my camera gear, a short walk to the church.
It too was open. And as wonderful as before. Having my big lens, I wanted to snap the 19 brass plates marking the tombs of the great family. This is the best collection of medieval brass plates not just in Kent, but in all of England. That and the tomb in the Chancel making this such a special church, with so much of interest. Not least the remains of a spiral staircase in the south east corner of the chancel which lead to a very unusual gallery, now long since gone.
I snap much, some of it redoing what I had recorded before, but most new, including the windows.
I walked out of the church and down to the pub, Terry pulled up beside me in his ancient Audi, greeting me warmly. Ian was waiting in the car park, so we went in, bagged a table and we all decided to have lunch.
I thought I would be good and have something light, like tapas, while they both had the suet pudding of the day(!): steak and ale, in which they chose well. The tapas was bland, sadly, especially the creamy chicken dish, but the pint of local best ale was very good indeed.
We talked of plans for the new year and of the group, and eat well when the food is brought. The suet puddings looked fabulous.
On the tellybox I saw Norwich were 1-0 down at half tie, and by the time I got to the car to drive back home, were 3-0 and falling apart.
I drove in silence.
3-0 was the final score, but we have a run of what should be winable games, while Burnley will cruise to promotion with few worries.
I go to see jen, but she has gone for a walk, so I got no answer at the door, so drive home where Jools was just finishing in the garden.
We have a brew and some chocolate while I listen to yet more football, and review the 535 shots of the two churches I had taken.
As usual, we listen to Craig on the radio while I watch football on the computer, sitting with Scully on the sofa. She fell asleep under my arm, purring and snoring her way into dreamland, dreaming of fat mice, I guess. Or something.

In a county with more memorial brasses than any other, Cobham takes pride of place, with a set of nineteen, the majority of which have been grouped together in the chancel. The church consists of a thirteenth-century chancel, and fourteenth-century nave, aisles and west tower. In 1362 the church was refounded as a college by Sir John de Cobham, and the medieval domestic buildings survive to the south of the church. The south wall of the chancel displays several items of interest. There is a fine double piscina which has been moved further west of its original position. The latter is now occupied by an elaborate fourteenth-century piscina, with a finely wrought canopy of three arches and a parapet of quatrefoils and leaves. Next to it is a slightly plainer sedilia of three equal arches. The last feature of note is the stairway in the south-east corner of the chancel which led to a gallery over the altar - a unique feature in Kent. In the centre of the chancel is the alabaster table tomb of Sir George Brooke (d. 1558). It was badly damaged when a beam fell on it in the eighteenth century and is much restored. In front of the monument are sixteen of the medieval brasses, brought here from other parts of the church, the most interesting of which are: Sir John de Cobham (d. 1407), founder of the college, who is seen holding a lovely spired church in his hands; Sir Nicholas Hawkberk (d. 1407) - a super visor hinges from his face; William Tanner (d. 1418) the first master of the collegiate foundation.

COBHAM.
NORTHWARD from Cookstone lies Cobham, a very small part of which is within the hundred of Hoo.
THE PARISH of Cobham is rather an unfrequented place, not having any road of traffic through it. It is a healthy and rather a pleasant situation, tho' the woods and foliage in Cobham-park give it in general a gloomy appearance; it extends about two miles and a half from east to west, and a mile and a half from north to south; it contains about two thousand nine hundred and fifty acres of land, seventy houses, exclusive of the college, about seven hundred and sixty inhabitants. Cobham park, having the mansion of Cobham-hall situated in a vale within it, contains the greatest part of the parish; on an eminence in the park, about a mile from the house, is a costly mausoleum, built pursuant to the will of the late earl, as a burial place for himself and family, which being finished, his body, which was deposited in the church, was brought hither, and laid in it. The building is a conspicuous object to a considerable distance round it. It stands on Williams's-hill, on a spot of ground where it is said there was once a chapel. This elegant structure is octangular, built of Portland stone, the columns at each angle supporting a sarcophagus, the top terminating with a quadrangular pyramid over the vault, which has sixteen recesses or burial places in it, besides those for the late earl and his countess; there is a chapel elegantly sitted up, the windows of which are of stained glass, and ornamented with Brocotello marble. The soil is various; strong good mould, chalk, and some gravel, and is in general accounted a good wheat land. The village is situated on high ground, in the south west part of the parish, having the church within it, from which there is a most extensive view southwestward over the country; adjoining to the church yard is Cobham college, and at the west end of the street the parsonage, the property and residence of Mr. Pemble. At a small distance further is the estate of Outlets, and at the western boundary of the parish the manor of Henhurst; Cobham mount is situated about a quarter of a mile's distance from the Shinglewell road, which runs along the northern side of this parish, by the pales of the park. The northeast parts adjoining Cobham-park, formerly called the out park grounds, are covered with coppice woods.
The antient Roman road, or Watling-street-way, shews itself very plainly from Shinglewell hither, in its way to Rochester, with the hedges standing on it, sometimes on the right and sometimes on the left of the present road, and at other times falling in with it. It goes on to Cobham-park, where the pales seem to stand on it for some little space, soon after which it leaves them, as may be seen in the passage out of the north gate of the park, where the way crosses it, from thence it runs into a thick wood, where it is not to be followed. At the north west boundary of this parish, adjoining the above road, is a water, called St. Thomas's-well, probably from the use made of it by St. Thomas Becket in his journeyings through these parts.
Our HERBALISTS have taken notice of the following scarce plants, growing in this parish, viz.
Pneumonanthe, Calathian violet.
Trachelium majus, blue and also white Canterbury bells, found under Cobham park pales, in the road from Shinglewell to Rochester.
Chamæpitys, ground pine of several sorts.
Tragoriganum, goats marjorom, or organy, near Cobham house.
Lamium luteum etiam rubrum, the yellow archangel, as also the red, found in Cobham woods.
Lautana five viburnum, the wayfaring tree. (fn. 1)
¶Narcissus sylvestris pallidus calyce luteo, the wild English daffodil, observed by Mr. Thorpe of Bexley, in a moist place or two in Cobham park.
COBHAM is within the ECCLESIASTICAL JURISDICTION of the diocese and deanry of Rochester. The church, which is dedicated to St. Mary Magdalen, is a handsome spacious building, consisting of three isles and a large chancel, and has a good tower at the west end of it, with a ring of bells.
¶Among other monuments and inscriptions in it, in the middle of the chancel is a most noble monument of white marble, on which lie the essigies of Sir George Brooke lord Cobham, governor of Calais, K. G. and his wife, in full proportion; the figures and names, of their children, ten sons and four daughters, were likewise cut in marble round it; he died in 1558. This fine piece of sculpture seems once to have had a canopy of marble over it, which, with the pillars that supported it, and many pieces of the figures, now lie broken and scattered upon the tomb. It was erected by his son, Sir Wm. Brooke, in 1561, arms, Brooke quartering Cobham, and seven other coats within the garter. Almost the whole of the pavement of this chancel is covered with the gravestones of the family of Cobham and Brooke, with several of the brasses remaining on them, though so very loose, that in all probability they will soon be purloined, as numbers of the same sort were by some workmen a few years ago. Those which remain are as follows: a brass plate and figure, and inscription in French, in very antient capitals, cut round the edge of the stone, for dame Joan de Cobham; a brass plate and figure in armour, with a like inscription, south of the former, for Thomas de Cobham, and for Maud, the wife of Sir Thomas Cobeham, who died in 13 3 Richard II. another of the like sort, south of the last, with the figure of a man in armour, holding a church in his hands, for John de Cobham, founder of this place. On another, south of the former, on brass, on a chevron three lions rampant, and the same impaling three roundles, a file of three points in chief, and the figure of a woman, and round the verge of the stone, a French inscription in brass, for Margaret de Cobham, daughter of the earl of Devonshire, wife of the lord of Cobham, builder of this place, obt. 1395. In like manner with the last, are the figures of two women, for dame Maud de Cobham, 13 the rest lost; south of the last a brass plate, with the figure of a man in armour, and arms of Cobham as above, and inscription round the verge of the stone, in French, for John de Cobham, ob. 1390; westward of this, on brass plates, are the figures of a man and woman, eight sons and ten daughters, and round the verge of the stone an inscription in brass, for Sir John Brooke, baron of Cobham, and Margaret his wife, daughter of Edward Nevile, lord of Burgavenny; he died in 1506, she died in 1500; arms, Cobham as above, impaling Nevile with quarterings; north of the former, brass and figure of a man in armour, and round the verge in brass, an inscription for Sir Nicholas Hawberk, husband of Joan lady Cobham, heir of John lord Cobham, founder of this college; he died at the castle of Cowling, in 1407; underneath the figure of a child, and inscription, for John their son; another, north of the last, and brass, with the figure of a woman, six sons, and four daughters, for Joan lady Cobham, wife of Sir Reginald Braybrooke, ob. 1433; arms, Cobham as above, with impalements and quarterings. Northward of the last, on brass, the figure of a man in armour, and round the verge and inscription in brass for Sir Reginald Braybrook, husband of Joan lady Cobham; he died at Middleburgh in Flanders, in 1405; on the same stone the figure of a child, and inscriptions for Reginald and Robert, their sons; northward of the former, the figures of a man in armour, his wife, five sons, and six daughters, and round the verge, in brass, an inscription for Sir Thomas Brooke, lord Cobham, and kinsman and heir of Sir Richard Beauchamp; he married first Dorothy, daughter of Sir Henry Haydon, by whom he had seven sons and six daughters; and secondly Dorothy Fowthewel, widow; and thirdly Elizabeth Hart; by neither of whom he had issue, ob. 1529, arms quarterly, 1st, on a chevron, a lion rampant, crowned; 2d, Cobham as above; 3d, seven mascles, three, three, and one; 4th, on a fess between three leopards heads an annulet. A brass plate for John Sproltle, master of this college, ob. 1498; on brass the figure of a man, and these arms, on a chevron three cross croslets bottone, in the dexter chief a star, for Ranf. de Cobham, esq. of Kent, who died in 1402; a brass plate and figure for William .......... master of this college, obt. 14. another like for Wm. Tanner, first master of it, ob. 1418. A stone and inscription for Tho. Webb, esq. secretary to James Stuart duke of Richmond, ob. 1649. In the nave a brass figure for master John Gladwyn, master of this college. In the north isle, a brass for John Gery, fellow of this college, obt. 1447; a brass, on a chevron between three trefoils as many annulets, and inscription for several of the Claverings; in the nave, now almost worn out, an inscripition for Alice, daughter of Nicholas Harpur, esq. first wife of William .......... and late to Edmond .......... There is a vault in this church, which belonged to the family of Hayes, of this parish, and being full, another was granted to them in the church yard, by the good will of the parishioners. Against the wall of the church on the outside, on the east side of the porch, is a small figure cut in stone, about two feet high, of a man to his waist, and under it an inscription, to the memory of one Robert Hoth, but the date is obliterated, and the whole of it in so perishing a condition, that a few years will entirely destroy it.
i don't know about their relationship. may be they were on date or just friends or engaged/married couple. the important thing for me was the way they were having perfectly nice time togather, as if each one got the pertfect date. for me, it was the right place (my favourite amrai restaurant with most beautiful panaromic view of the palaces), right people, right backdrop and the perfect morning light.

You know Nienor. She is a socialite. When she arrived at the D&G White Rainbow Party, all the other models were sipping drinks and talking, and since all of them hated her in her beautiful guts, she decided to take the dance floor and dance the night away just as she did last year in Ibiza. All of them envied her seductive moves, called her "beyotch", "dirty harlot", "slutty mobstress" and she heard them all. But she kept dancing and they kept envying and that fuelled her dance power. When she had enough, Nienor stopped the whirl of satin threads and all of a sudden all was silent. All the men were enchanted, all the women mad. "Whatever.." said Nienor with a smirk and left the boring party....

You know, whenever I see photos like this one, I always think the photographer amped up the saturation, but this photo, and all the others I took this day, are pretty much exactly as I shot them.
The night I took this photo, I had gone out to the pier with a bunch of other tourists to photograph the sunset, which was spectacular. Once the the sun sank below the horizon, all the other tourists drifted away, but I hung around, watching as the colors in the sky coalesced into darker hues.
Just before the day turned into night and I thought the show was over, the sky blazed into this amazing shade of hot pink, which was reflected by the placid water of the bay. The lights on the pier came on, glittering on the deep blue surface of the water, and my heart swelled with the beauty of it all.
Good things come to those who wait...

Type III life jackets are the most popular life jacket due to their versatility for water sports. But do you know the pros and cons of wearing one when visiting U.S. Army Corps of Engineers lake? This public service announcement is in conjunction with the National Water Safety Program campaign “Life Jackets Worn…Nobody Mourns.” #ILoveThisLifeJacket #PrepareAthon #WearIt (USACE Video by Ashley Webster)
I know that it looks like this might be at Disney (lol) but this was taken in Ottawa on a bridge over the canal. The building with the roof peaks in the distance is the Chateau Laurier (a very swanky hotel, which I actually stayed at many, many years ago) and the old train station (not sure what it is used for today).
I personally love this picture. It isn't often that we see Nicole in a dress, let-lone with her hair out of a pony-tail! You might note the humongous bruise on her forearm... just above the farmer's tan. (lol) What you don't see is her long-ago-shed-heels-for-more-comfy-Berkenstalks! (lol)
It was so nice to see her, even if it was only for a couple of days. She is working waaaayyy up north fighting forest fires (this is her second year doing so). So far it has been much too wet for any action. ...Guess that means that my daily rain-dance ritual is working to my favour! ...Just don't tell her I told you!
=^D
Thank you for all of your kind comments, visits, faves and invites. I do appreciate you taking the time to stop by for a wee visit. ♥ =^D

This is for Fro Knows Photo (check out his website www.froknowsphoto.com). In thes shot I edited it in LR boosted the colors selectively and contrasts. Then I edited it in Color efex pro, used the preset tonal contrast first and then ran it through again using galour glow. Gives it a nice almost HDR effect.
The Plaxton "Panorama" coach body was fitted to various chassis. How then, did one tell what type of chassis it was? The practiced eye could usually read the signs. In this case the badge on the front, "BRISTOL LH", is a bit of a giveaway ...but this was often absent or had been nicked by some screwdriver-equipped enthusiast. With LHs the best clue was the bodywork, whose width exceeded that of the chassis by several inches on each side, producing a rather graceless "overbodied" look. One had to be on one's toes though, because some companies, notably Western National and operators in the Channel Islands, with lots of narrow country roads in their territory, had special bodies made to the same width as the axles. One needed corroboration. The next things to look for were the slotted apertures for the LH's front-mounted radiator, which were always above as well as below the bodywork's waist rail. Any screen for the destination or owner's fleetname usually appeared below the windscreen on Plaxton Panoramas, but because of the position of the LH's radiator, it had to be repositioned in the "dome" ...i.e. the forward-facing part of the roof.
This LH belonged to Brewer & Grieveson, of Sparham, Norfolk, who had acquired it secondhand from Carter, Litcham, in February 1978. The photograph was taken in the Vauxhall Bridgefoot Coach Park, London, on Saturday 19th August 1978.

Passion, it lies in all of us, sleeping... waiting... and though unwanted... unbidden... it will stir... open its jaws and howl. It speaks to us... guides us... passion rules us all, and we obey. What other choice do we have? Passion is the source of our finest moments. The joy of love... the clarity of hatred... and the ecstasy of grief. It hurts sometimes more than we can bear. If we could live without passion maybe we'd know some kind of peace... but we would be hollow... Empty rooms shuttered and dank. Without passion we'd be truly dead.

From one of the greatest rap albums
Ya Mama
Intro:
Yo man, you gotta be... you know
You gotta be on to die, man, what's up with that?
Yo bro-shot
Yeah, word up bro-shot
Uh, we need some brothers to be, uh, like droppin knowledge
and writin good stuff
Ay man, why don't you quit talkin all the stuff and do something about it?
You know what I'm sayin?
Oh, you talking about.. kick some, uh, knowledge...
Yeah, well you do that like right now
... and some wisdom for the people
What's up with that?
OK, I got it
(brothers and sisters)
Verse One: Fat Lip
Ya mom is so fat (how fat is she?)
Ya mama is so big and fat that she can get busy
with twenty-two burritos, but times are rough
I seen her in the back of Taco Bell with handcuffs
The sad fact (what?) ya mama smokes crack (what?)
She got a burning yearning and there's no turning back
Her knuckles drag down to the ground when she walk
Spit comes out that bitch mouth when she talk
Refrain:
Naked on a mountain top, tootin on a flizoot
Ridin on a horse drinking whisky out a bizoot
She's got the wings and teeth of an african bat
Her middle name is Mudbone and on top of all that:
Ya mama got a glass eye with the fish in it (3X)
Ya mama, ya mama, ya mama
Verse Two: Booty Brown
Ya mama look like she's been in the dryer with some rocks
With the big bust nose sucking dirt out of socks
Held up the ice cream truck with a slingshot
She grabbed a bag of Cheese Corn and a soda pop
Ya mama root'n'toot and stole my loot and my suit
She may have the muscles, but no, she's not cute
She's not pretty, oh what a pity, got the glass titty
Filled up with Kool-aid, just for the kiddies
Refrain:
On a cliff butt naked, tootin on a flute
Ridin on a horse drinkin whisky out a boot
She's got the teeth and the wings of an African bat
Her middle name is Mudbone and on top of all that
Ya mama got the wooden legs with real feet (3X)
Ya mama, ya mama, ya mama
Verse Three: Imani
Watch out, I'm thinkin about your mother to a funky beat
I went to your house, and she licked me on the cheek
I said excuse me lady, but I remember seeing you at the Palladium
way back in September
Cause you was beatboxin for Lou Rawls
In some bright red boxer drawers
You said ya moms was pretty and young
But she's old as dirt and got hair on her tongue
Refrain:
Ya moms, ya moms, she uses Brut
And I saw her ridin a horsey drinking whisky out a boot
She's got the wings and teeth of an african bat
Her middle name is Mudbone, and on top of all that
Ya mama's got a peg leg with a kickstand (3X)
Ya mama, ya mama, ya mama
Verse Four: Silm Kid Tre
Awwwwwwww, ya mom is so fat (how fat is she?)
We rode up on her back to get some burgers from Wendy's
and her skates went flat; I got stuck in her butt crack
They thought I was lost but I was caught by the G-strap
Heaven forbid a giant fart would give way
Cause that would blow me round the world in a day
We drove into the drive-in and she didn't have to pay
because we dressed her up to look just like a Chevrolet
Refrain:
Naked on a mountain top tootin on a flizoot
Ridin on a horse, drinkin whisky out a bizoot
With the wings and the teeth of an african bat, ba-aa-aa-at
Her middle name is Mudbone and on top of all that
Ya mama's got an afro, with a chin strap (3X)
Ya mama, ya mama, ya mama
Outro:
Ya mama got snake skin teeth
Ya mama wears coat hangers for earrings , dude she looks like.... hehehe
Ya mama was making sex threats to Ricky Bell and shit
Ya mama jacked the Kool-aid man for a sip, nigga
Ya mama was walking down on Sunset with a 99 cent sign on her back
(You're a sellout) ya mama's a sellout nigga ya mama
Nigga ya mama did a pop tune nigga
Ya mama's glasses are so thick she look into a map
and see people wavin at her
Your mother got an Ouija board on her back
Sidney with EQ and everything what he be sayin
His mother be hooked, fishin with a hook and reel at the frozen food section
Tre's mama got Playdough teeth
Ya mother be eatin daisies like Now and Laters and shit
Ya mama's an extra on the Simpsons and shit
Ya mama's so fat you can't even see her legs
it just looks like she's just gliding across the floor...

To take btf-pics - it's not difficult... for me. Can say more - to be a butterflies hunter is one of my fave hobby from little up.
In my childhood i lived close to a forest and water meadows, always catched a lot of butterflies and other insects for my collections…
yea, yea, i know - it's inhumanely and Greenpeace would be in a rage (lol), but these years nobody heard about Greenpeace in the Soviet Union (my homeland).
I was enough good hunter... immodest, but a fact - i never use a butterfly-net, only my hands and still have most rare Russian butterflies in my collection! ;-)
Well i didn't have a btf-net, therefore i had to come close to a subject of catching - quickly, max-noiselessly, taking into account the shadow direction ...
so... to take btf pics using Olympus E-510 with a standard 14-42 mm lens
– it’s not difficult for me - it's easy!... it's thrilling!... it's an enjoyment! :-)

I don't know to play any instrument but would one day learn to play Guitar. This photo would be one of my tributes towards all the great Guitarists.
I received feedback from few friends that there should be more light in this shot but personally I like it this way. And the only editing done here is addition of logo & frame.
Setup: Guitar placed on a chair with a black wall behind it. The lighting has been done by a single torch with a exp of 30 secs. More of my experiments
I know I've been really inactive, but I swear to God I'm not losing interest in lego. I've just been lazy as fuck and haven't gotten to doing any serious modding or painting.
Though I have been trying to improve my photoshop skills over the past month. Some of it was this picture, originally an alternate shot from this.
I swear I'm going to force myself to put some time towards painting before college starts up again. Currently I've been doing a little bit of modding here and there.
The title is from a fitting track from the Metro: Last Light OST.
I know I'm so paranoid
But I've been that way since I was a boy
Knee high, stage fright
Even if you're alright
I've got to be

La idea fundamental es: ¿por qué hay que hacer siempre algo? ¿Por qué uno tiene que pasarse la vida yendo y viniendo? ¿Por qué no puedo quedarme quieto un momento sin tener que decidir de qué sabor quiero mi helado?
I know I already have a ton of pictures of this place up, but I had the opportunity to stop by one last time before they closed for good. I made the most of it and tried to get some better pictures.
Who knows if or when I'll ever get back to the Big Island. As the story goes the pictures of the moments will never be the same, the Mighty Mississippi changes course, the Niagara falls keep moving, and the distance to the moon is reported to move away from Earth at the rate of 8 inches a year, so I've read. if you pay notice the coloration at max this wonderful 55.0-300.0 is maxed out, more important the total coloration is different without the aberration that distance brings. I could only hope that the clarity was as is desired. the mind processes what it sees, while the manufacture presets the color values, at best it's a moment to remember, as the other 16 photographs experience, a fraction of moments time. ever changing ! also add the influence this is an abbreviated presentation , due to size and full detail. and the Smile shared always included. Enjoy ! Paul
When I started this project I didn't know the world was going to be struggling with a pandemic. So achieving a 100 portraits seemed possible back in early March when I started. During the first lockdown there was a real scarcity of people and people were more tentative especially about talking to strangers. The 2nd lockdown is just about to finish in England. Far more people have been out and about and thankfully the infection rate has been low in West Suffolk. So I have been trying to take more street portraits.
On a bench near the market I saw Enrika and Abigail and they were wiling to have their photos taken.
Both of them are students at West Suffolk University studying a BTEC Diploma in Animal Studies. From what they said it sounded as if it was a mixture of practical sessions in an Animal Centre and theory. They are in their first year so they weren't sure what jobs they might do afterwards . Armed with the qualifications they may end up working with animals perhaps at a Vets or in Retail.
They both travel into Bury by bus everyday from Brandon in Suffolk. Enrika becomes 62 thank you.
Its The End Of The World As We Know It
R.E.M
That's great, it starts with an earthquake, birds and snakes, an aeroplane
And Lenny Bruce is not afraid
Eye of a hurricane, listen to yourself churn
World serves its own needs, dummy serve your own needs.
Feed it off an aux speak, grunt
No strength the ladder starts to clatter with the fear, fight down height.
Wire in a fire, representing seven games with a government for hire and a combat site.
Left of West and coming in a hurry with the furies breathing down your neck.
Team by team reporters baffled, trump, tethered crop.
Look at that low playing! Fine then.
Uh oh, overflow, population, common food, but it'll do.
Save yourself, serve yourself.
World serves its own needs, listen to your heart bleed.
Dummy with the rapture and the reverent in the right - right.
You vitriolic, patriotic, slam, fight, bright light,
Feeling pretty psyched.
It's the end of the world as we know it.
It's the end of the world as we know it.
It's the end of the world as we know it and I feel fine.
I know, it looks grim and fierce, but actually these creatures are very calm and peaceful. Here is what WWF has to say about them:
"Gorillas display many human-like behaviors and emotions, such as laughter and sadness. They even make their own tools to help them survive in the forest. In fact, gorillas share 98.3% of their genetic code with humans, making them our closest cousins after chimpanzees and bonobos. The largest of the great apes, gorillas are stocky animals with broad chests and shoulders, large, human-like hands and small eyes set into hairless faces.
Gorillas live in family groups of usually 5 to 10, but sometimes two to more than 50, led by a dominant male who holds his position for years. Females become sexually mature around seven or eight years old but don’t begin to breed until a couple of years later. Males mature at an even greater age. Once a female begins to breed, she’ll likely give birth to only one baby every four to six years, and only three or four over her entire lifetime. This low rate of reproduction makes it difficult for gorillas to recover from population declines. Both gorilla species have been decreasing in numbers for decades, and a 2010 United Nations report suggests that they may disappear from large parts of the Congo Basin by the mid-2020s."
Technically, I went low key again. I have a high key version with a white background here on my Mac, but it just isn't ready for prime time yet. And it may never be.
I left just a little bit of color on the teeth.
Either you view this in the lightbox with all other light sources dimmed or you'd better let it be. So please press 'L'.
Enjoy!
I know I already posted a picture of the same spot but I love that place and I was not happy with the previous shot... There were less cars in this one so I was able to remove all the car trails, but there were cruise boats passing every minutes so the reflections are not top notch.

I know those of you who live near big reedbed wetlands get plenty of opportunities to photograph Bearded Tits. But they have an incredibly localised distribution in Britain and I live a long way from any of them. They are totally absent from the uplands, and largely absent from the lowlands too come to think of it. So I don't get chance to see them very often, let alone manage a photograph. This isn't the best photograph in the world but in my books I would consider this a good view of this elusive denizen of dense reedbeds that is heard more often than it is seen. The call by the way is a distinctive "twang" that is used as a contact call to keep families together as they move through dense reedbeds. It is this twanging noise that invariably alerts me to their presence and sometimes gets me one of my infrequent glimpses.
I remember first looking at a picture of Bearded Tit in the Observer's Book of Birds when I was about five years old. I was totally entranced by it with its dove grey head and bizarre drooping moustache. It was years later before I actually saw one, at Minsmere I think, and it has been one of my favourites ever since. This male was with a loose group of other Bearded Tits in a reedbed in East Yorkshire. Although slightly obscured it shows all the features that make this such an attractive bird, not least the moustache, blue head, yellow bill and pale eye, plus the camouflaged body and long tail. If you look carefully you can see another just behind it.
Incidentally, despite the name it is not a member of the "Tit" family. It is the only European representative of a largely oriental family known as "Parrotbills" (Panuridae). There was a move to change the name to Bearded Parrotbill but it never caught on, but it is also widely known as Bearded Reedling, which has a nice ring to it and does not confuse people that it is related to Blue Tits.
Ya just never know what I am going to come up with next, do ya? Just having some fun and sending my love to all who have been such great and consistant contacts, especially to someone like Dave Duke. A special friend, in another country, isn't that what Flickr is all about really, all of us being supportive, and helping each other, and having this marvelous opportunity to meet one another, people from every part of this planet, what a wonderful gift we have been given to all come together and share our love of creativity.
as I can not name each of you here, this also is for my adorable Ms. Judi, and all the other gal's who will dig it, I think! Everybody get's insomnia occasionally, and that is another great thing about Flickr.
And that is just my opinion..........
