job done. i got rid of the other half where we could read "kick in the eye?" and it turned out to be much different from what i had planned.
ah, and guess what?
now i'm on facebook...
Do you know, Do you know
Do you know what it feels like loving someone that?s in a rush to throw you away.
Do you know what it feels like to be the last one to know
the lock on the door has changed.
If birds flying south is a sign of changes
At least you can predict this every year.
Love, you never know the minute it ends suddenly
I can?t get it to speak
Maybe finding all the things it took to save us
I could fix the pain that bleeds inside of me
Look in your eyes to see something about me
I?m standing on the edge and I don?t know what else to give.
Do you know what it feels like loving someone
that?s in a rush to throw you away.
Do you know what it feels like to be the last one to know
the lock on the door has changed.
How can I love you How can I love you How can I love you
If you just don?t talk to me, babe.
I flow through my act
The question is she needed
And decide all the man I can ever be.
Looking at the last 3 years like I did,
I could never see us ending like this.
Seeing your face no more on my pillow
Is a scene that?s never happened to me.
But after this episode I don?t see,
you could never tell the next thing life could be
Do you know what it feels like loving someone that?s in a rush to throw you away.
Do you know what it feels like to be the last one to know
the lock on the door has changed.
Do you know what it feels like loving someone
that?s in a rush to throw you away.
Girl, girl I'm goin outta my mind
And even though I don't really know you
I must've been runnin outta time
I'm waiting for the moment I can show you
And baby girl I want you to know
I"m watching you go
I'm watching you pass me by
It's real love that you don't know about
Baby I was there all alone
When you'd be doin things that i would wit you
I picture you and me all alone
I'm wishing there was someone i can talk to
I gotta get out outta my head
Buy baby girl I gotta see you once again, again
It's real love that you don't know about

Things I Know to be True, by Andrew Bovell
Things I Know to be True is a beautifully written drama centring on the lives of a family over the period of a year, poignantly presented through the seasons. It is described as a “complex and intense portrait of the mechanics of a family – and a marriage –through the eyes of four siblings struggling to define themselves beyond their parents’ love and expectations”.

Teach thee on child of love hereafter.
Into the flood again, same old trip it was back then...
So i made a big mistake, try to see it once my way.
Drifting body it's sole desertion.
Flying not yet quite the notion.
Am i wrong?
Have i run too far to get home...
Have i gone?
And left you here alone...
If
I
would,
could
you?

You know what they say about dogs and their owners.
Woofstock 2009 in Toronto. June 13 & 14th. Thousands of dogs and their humans converge on Front Street in an orgy of canine adoration.
Keep an eye out while browsing your local newspaper this week because you might just find an extra-special supplement inside. Israeli visual and installation artist Know Hope has inserted his own mini-paper, The Anytimes, into various publications in news boxes and stands on the streets of Los Angeles. The Anytimes is a special work of art featuring poetry, ponderings, and classic imagery by one of Israel's most important young contemporary voices.
Not many copies of The Anytimes exist, however, and no one except Know Hope knows exactly where they have been placed, so be sure to spread the word about this exciting project. You'll need to run to the newsstand yourself to make sure you get one!

Normally my shadow infront of me annoys me when I'm at work, but today, it was greatly appreciated. The shadow knows there will soon be a parade turning down Spencer Mountain Road...and then it will be time to work.
Norio knows that when it snows, his friends will do the shoveling for him. He's happy he's not required to do anything like that and can rest on his new favorite spot in the computer room...
These signs are all over Michigan, but I rarely see any workers I could injure or kill.
I know from my experiences of driving cars around the state of Michigan that "Injure kill a worker! Injure kill a worker!" is a fun and easy-to-remember chant for passing the time while driving, but I doubt that was one of the considerations involved in the decision of how the signage would be worded.

This is on a limestone slope above a cliff that's probably 75 feet above the river (or "Lake Travis" as it is optimistically called by boaters.) See the previous photo, taken near the fallen tree, to better understand the mystery. There are no trees except dwarfish live oaks, and junipers scarcely larger than bushes, anywhere on this entire karstic upland. So, where did an actual large tree come from? A flood? I'm guessing that is the answer, but I have a hard time imagining a flood this high above the river. In fact I would have doubted that floodwaters had been up here since the Pliocene, but I can't think of any other explanation. If so, it was a hell of a flood.
I don't know what kind of tree it is. The shape suggests a bald cypress.

On February 19, 2014, Phi Alpha Delta hosted a LEAD event featuring Busted, a film that depicts the pressure and confusion in police encounters. Busted illustrated the right and wrong ways to handle different police encounters and demonstrated how to courteously and confidently refuse police searches. Discussion followed.
I know how you're feeling, pal. It's like the whole world wouldn't cast a single glance at you and even if they do, it's filled with so much contempt that it's better to just avoid eye contact. Delusion is so much better than reality sometimes. When you just wanna run away from the truth of it all. Taken with iPhone 4 and edited using crossprocess and filterstorm.
I know where you are. You're at crow crag. I've been watching you, especially you, prancing like a tit. You want working on boy.

Managed to luck out this sight at a place which is considered THE geographical centre of Europe... just the problem is there are around 20 such places, depending on different measures and criteria of those who claim that.

This tree kept pointing at something in the distance that he wanted me to photograph. Never did figure out what. I took this shot just to pacify him.

Do you know Barack Obama?
He's going to make his official announcement that he's running for President tomorrow in my town of Springfield, Illinois USA.
He'll be on the grounds of the Old State Capitol, where Abraham Lincoln served in the House of Representatives. A few blocks from Abe's home, and a couple of miles from where Abe's remains are entombed.
I think Mr. Obama is making use of the symbolism of announcing his candidacy in the small town where Lincoln lived and served.
I'm not sure what made me think of Mr. Obama when I looked at this photo I took last night. Perhaps it's the symbolism of the church bell tower calling the faithful to prayer which reminded me of the symbolic use of this city of Lincoln by the Presidential hopeful.
I hope for many things in life. I hope tomorrow's political rally is peaceful and shines a spotlight on the good in our town.
Kind of like wishing on a star, hope is.
